Halloween is not a Muslim or jewish festival.
The Jesus Christers took it over from primitive religions and made it the the EVe of All Hallows (All Saints Day)
So why would anybody mock the religious teachers of other faiths that dont do Halloween.

know where in the bible will you find christian religions being condemned for teaching the trinity or hell fire doctrines, but you will find jesus condemning those that come as messiah's or christs (both mean anointed) and declaring 'the time is near'.
you will also find paul cursing anyone that preaches a gospel different then the apostles preached as well as cursing those that change or add to the bible.

this story is quite remarkable and no doubt many will appreciate it being told.
it is telling for several reasons; it highlights the fact that the watchtower organization can expel and marginalize anyone for literally anything if they are crossed.
they did that to ray franz back in the early 1980s and they recently have done it to these fine folks.. there are some six pieces of documentation in the account and it is in some ways a complicated mess, but it really boils down to a couple of active witnesses informing on someone to the elders.
YET - if an adult is accused of molesting a child, the victim is dragged infront of the abusr and expected to accuse him to his face.
Why dont they ever do that with the gossips?

i heard that there is an elder in each congregation that follows very closely what is being said from stage to make sure everything is being said correctly.
in all my years as a jw , i don't ever remember this at the local level.

I was once criticised by the elders for making an "inappropriate" comment at the Witchtower "study":

Yet their litanies of filth continue to poison the ears of little innocents. Once I had attended a "Christian Meeting" at the Kingdumb hell, I never drew a clean breath of air again....

but some things take longer than others.
Most 15 year olds, whether male or female, can barely wait to have sex.
Very few are actually damaged for life at that age if they are doing what they want and are well [pleased with themselves.
It is unhappily a double standard.
A young boy having the sex he wants cannot belive his luck. Yet a girl the same age is always expected to say how scarred she is for life.
There is a difference between being held at knife point for sex, and the funloving stuff I was doing with those my own age when I was 13.
I can see days coming where 70 year olds are jailed because at the age of eight or nine they played "doctors" with somebody who only years later discovered they had been humiliated and scarred and destroyed.
my dear granny hasn't been feeling well for some time and has had a problem keeping anything down.
she had lost a lot of weight and gone for many tests.
those tests came back and on friday we were told she has cancer of the pancreas.
Talk about the good times you had in the past - most people in this situation remember the past vividly, more than the present.
