  On the "Millions now Living" talk:

  There is a recording of Freddie Franz later on giving a talk, where he said that "MAY" never die was changed to "WILL" never die because the proof of what they were saying was irrefutable.

  Go find it yourself and listen.

  Oh - and the "Faith in Action" DVD is dishonest. Compare the photo in Proclaimers book of the stage at Cedar Point in 1919 with the video.

  The Photo of the stage in the book shows the platform surrounded by American Flags. These are airbrushed out in the video. WHY?

  One thing that still sickens me is the way jdubs lie to themselves and others, and the way their memories automatically delete and update - rather like the Stargate episode.

  how does rolf furuli know that it was tampered with?

  Furuli is a teacher of languages in Sweden, I believe.

  He is not qualified to evalute the astronomical data. (Which backs up 587)

  He is not qualified to assert that tablets have been tampered with, and NOT consult an EXPERT (that means somebody with credetials to prove he can be trusted)

  Furuli is a JDUB. He knows that to disagree with the eight popes will get him DF, and he will lose all his friends and family.

  been going nuts looking for this.. i am sure i have read, and probably saved, a quote by them about not being false prophets but i am buggered if i can find it anywhere in search, google or my own pc.. can you help?.

  i think its 2009 but not sure, where they have the line 'never have we said ''jehovah has said'' when ...'.

  a link or pdf or scan or cut n paste, etc would be great!.

  They are liars when they claim never to have said these are the words of Jehovah.

  There was an article "They will know a Prophet was in their midst", where they said that they back up what they say with the scripture: "this is what Jehovah has said."

  Early whale ancestors had hooves?

  i have been online looking for actual images of the hoofed toes of early whales.. there is no lack of articles that say "such and such" had hooves on their toes, like their land dwelling ancestors.. i want images pictures of the relevant fossils.. all these references to hooves alone is like the self referencing of the wt with no actual tangible proof.. i am sick to death of looking at drawings that dont really prove anything....

  If you want a good laugh, read "An EArly Whale Fantasy from National Geographic"

  They dont understand how a mutaion works, they dont know the proper biological definition of evolution, they dont know what "vestigial" (as in vestigial organ really means, and they are soo thick they cannot draw any conclusions or inferences from what they have rubbed their nose in.

  How to accept the actions of the Old Testament God

  how are we able to do this.. this is not an attempt to stir the pot or cause confusion but i was sitting here thinking of all the really horrid things that the old testament god did to people.

  when i was a jw i just purposely put it to the back of my mind always trying to make an excuse.

  when i was in field service and someone would ask me about it i would just change the subject.. however i have been reading alot of info lately here about how wonderful jesus is and how he is a direct representation of what god the father would be.

  ANY so-called "human" being who displayed the qualities and behaved like the OT god would be despised, and put on trial.

  The solution to any problem for him seems to be killing somebody or everybody.

  Christians claim that because he is their god, what he did is okay because he is god and knows best.

  The OT god did what he did because he could. Why does a dog lick its dick?

  Very Big (and Shocking) Contradiction in the Gospels

  i was visiting a website in order to prove to people that the bible can be seen as a very extremist book.. however... the site also showed some contradictions and although i am aware of most of them i came to one contradiction that was actually very shocking: the part that satan tries to temp jesus christ.

  most of the gospels mention this and the timeframe shows that it happened directly after the baptism of jesus.

  however... look at what happens in john!.

  The Gospel of John cannot POSSIBLY have been written by the same ignoramus that penned Revelation.

  The Greek in the Gospel (according to language experts) is that of an educated Greek, not an ignorant peasant fisherman. He probably never even met Jesus personally.

  There are plenty of other serious contradictions - especially if you include the Gospel srejected by the Church becasue they did not match its agenda.

  on my way into work, i saw a "litterature waggon" strapped to a lamp post outside the railway station.. three (i kid you not) three "pious sneers" were standing, almost thirty feet away, gossiping laughing.. i watched for about five minutes, not one person looked at the stuff (it had "bible" on it so warned passersby cult.).

  they never once went near the display to draw attention to it.

  in fact, only an ex dubbie would have known they were connected with it.. by the end of the morning, they will have put in 3 x number of hours standing chatting and drinking coffee to keep warm.

  By the end of the morning, they will have put in 3 x number of hours standing chatting and drinking coffee to keep warm. Dont trust any increase in hours claimed in next years service report. I have even seen piousneers sitting in the subway checkiing their watch, to see if it is time to go home yet.

  But I ask you THREE claiming time for just standing about? They were all young fools though.
