Every JW has 7 demons assigned to them. 7 x 7,000,000 = 49,000,000 demons.

10 But he would not come alone, for Matthew 25:31 said that "all the angels" would be with him. How many might that be? Revelation

5:11 says: "I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels around the throne [of God] . . . and the number of them was myriads of

myriads." A myriad is 10,000. One myriad times one myriad is 10,000 times 10,000, a total of 100 million angels! Yet, Revelation

speaks in the plural, of "myriads of myriads" of angels serving God. That is hundreds of millions, perhaps billions or more. Under

Christ's direction, these spirit creatures are assisting God's representatives on earth in separating mankind into two groups, one for

"everlasting cutting-off," the other for "everlasting life."-Matthew 25:46; see also Matthew 13:41, 42.

The dragon has authority also in the spirit realm. With his tail, he "drags a third of the stars of heaven." Stars can represent angels.

(Job 38:7) Mention of "a third" would emphasize that a considerable number of angels have been misled by Satan. Once these came

under his control, there was no escape for them. They could not return to God's holy organization. They became demons, dragged

along, as it were, by Satan their king, or ruler. (Matthew 12:24) Satan also cast them down to the earth. This no doubt refers to Noah's

day before the Flood, when Satan induced the disobedient sons of God to go down to earth and cohabit with the daughters of men.

As a punishment, these "angels that sinned" have been thrown by God into the prisonlike condition called Tartarus.-Genesis 6:4; 2

Peter 2:4; Jude 6.

At the bare minimum there are 50,000,000 million (+ 1 ) demon angels residing right here on earth.

Pray silently?!? What the heck is this about?

i was just reading memphisbelle's account, and she mentions that the wt says that one is suppose to pray silently so satan wouldn't be able to mess up god's plans.

um, correct me if i am wrong, since i have never been, or will never be a jw....but what the heck kind of logic is this?!?

(especially if you read what the bible says about prayer.

I remember a sister telling me this, and I thought it was a crazy thing even then when I was a brain washed dubeeya.

Her logic was "don't pray to Jehovah out loud about your personal weaknesses, because Satan will hear them and concentrate on them".

Love to have references to where this all started.

welp...

it's been a crazy ride for over 25 years, pretty much raised as a witness (ever since i could remember), rebelled against my parents, came back, straighten out for a little while, married within "the truth", but the last 5 to 7 years, i've been seriously questioning the changes and doctrines established by the wts.

never thought i would be looking from this side of the fence.

curious says she misses you.".

"tell her i am right here, a phone call away.".

I had a Sheperding call by brother and sister Maykuk.

Sister Maykuk said everyone at the hall really misses you.

I involuntarily started laughing for about 5 seconds till I regained my composure.

Then she said "they dooooooo miss you" we need younger ones at the hall.

All I said was "really". They left shortly.

one asked the other if she would like a beer.

the second nun answered that, indeed, it would be very nice to have one, but that she would feel uncomfortable about purchasing it.

Without blinking an eye, the cashier reached across the counter and grabbed a bag of pretzel sticks and placed it with the beer, saying, "The curlers are on me."
