Isn't there a minimum age to work in Sweden? According to this link, light work is 13 and I think Mc Donalds might be 16?

Their talks should be rated like movies. I give this one a PG 13. Numbing, numbing, numbing...... I think the average JW has a high tolerance to numbing!

i have been thinking about this question a lot, especially during this time of year.the watchtower compels about 7 million jw's every year to believe, that they are unworthy to eat the bread and drink the cup of the lord.a main point of the watchtower's argument is found at 1cor.

27 so then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the lord.

28 everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.

I have been thinking about this question a lot, especially during this time of year.

A main point of the Watchtower's argument is found at 1Cor. 11:27-29. 27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. My question is: How can the Watchtower apply 1 Cor. to the earthly hope JW's, convincing them they are unworthy to eat and drink, when at the time of this scriptures writing there was only the heavenly hope? Also 1 Cor. was written c.56 and Revelation was written c.96, therefore the 144,000 number wasn't even thought of by anyone. IMO the Watchtower took a simple scripture that was written to correct an abuse of the Lord's supper and turned it into a decree of limitation for JW's. How does the Watchtower wiggle around this?

Congregation had to relocate Memorial...thanks to me

so, the two local congregations were planning to hold their memorial together at 7:30 at the local community center, but they had to make a last-minute change to their own hall, and i'm pretty sure it was because of me.. let me explain.... at work on monday afternoon, a co-worker returned from her lunchbreak and showed me the memorial invitation that was waiitng in her door when she went home for lunch.

i noticed the sticker on the back indicated the memorial was being held, not at the local hall, but at the community center.

from a past (non-jw) event i attended there, i knew they didn't allow alcohol (unless you pay for security guards), so i wrote to the center's coordinator:.
