i thought i would post this in response to your thread.
i know i may seem very anti-gay from some of the posts i have done over the past 9 months, but i think i will give you some more background.. .
somehwere in my middle teen years ( cant really remember) i started having some odd feelings toward other guys, it wasnt sexual, just some kind of attraction.
Dave that was a very brave thing you did. I think you are on the right path of healing. The more you talk about it the more you heal. I honestly think you will even heal more when you tell your Dad off. I know you will become the kind and gentle man that you always have been.

i didn't really get it till last year, when we lost to ohio state, and that smug dumb@$$ of a coach jim tressel.
so close, and the day after bo schembechler died.
but this is a huge game.
Granted I like Ohio State. But Go JAYHAWKS! 10-0!
just so you know, darin lost the election to city council.. .
we worked really hard the last 72 hours.
we walked neighborhoods, ran a phone bank, stood on the corner of a major intersection with campaign signs and waved to traffic.
Sorry Dave! I know you and Darin will come back stronger next time!

we are one week away from election day and the campaign is heating up.. .
apparently someone is taking darin's signs down, and placing the opponents sign up in his place, even on private property.
the board of elections has been notified.. .

darin called me this morning and has unveiled his new webpage.
there are several photos of him and darby on there, along with a couple pics of me too.. .
i am so proud of him, i have lots of hope for him.. .

so are you happier outside the jw's than inside?.
do you like having freedom, or are circumstances too overwhelming to appreciate it now?
is happiness in small things possible, even when we're still in the process of "getting it all together"?
Life is what you make of it, now with that being said. I am at a point in my life, where I am not happy or sad. I am content. I have a job that I love, enjoying the single life, and I am with my family and friends from my childhood. I look at it this way childhood sucks and adult life sucks even more sometimes. Grandma has told me for years to live everyday as your last. and as always Love Much, Live Well, and Laugh Often! that is our family motto! And never forget to Stop and smell the Roses!

things are getting strange, there is a woman who is a little older than me, who keeps dropping hints that she wants to go to myrtle beach with me.. .
i would feel funny taking her there as that is where we spent our honeymoon together.. .
Ok, I know I said the last post would be my last, I can't stay away. But Dave, you have to get out of that apartment and do something. Take some of my advice and join the YMCA or some other kind of gym. I think you would feel better about yourself and who know Mrs. wonderfull might be there. You never know. I know it is not easy to be Single again after 13 years of marriage, It's not easy for me. I moved out of the city I loved and moved out in the sticks of Kansas, granted I am here with my family but it is not the same. I have a few friends now but nearly the amount I had in TN.

after this past trip to ohio, i have become painfully more aware of how alone i am.
i miss having someone to share my life with.. .
im almost to the point of dating again, yet i have so many obstacles to overcome.. .
ok I would like to reply, Dave you are a great guy, I just grew up. You were my first love. And I am sorry that it didn't work out for us. The first couple of years were great, I needed more the last five. And I wasn't getting it. I was lonely, and heartbroken when I needed you, you weren't there. I am sorry, I never meant to hurt you the way I did. I honestly think I was never meant to be married. But I wish you all the best in life, cause you sure in the hell deserve it. And someday when you least expect it your perfect woman would come along and really knock your socks off. It just wasn't me. We were two different people completely.
with that being said this will be my last reply or response to anything on here. I don't belong anymore. For those who I have met in the past I wish you all the best! It has been fun, it has been real, and yes it has been real-fun!

i saw something that was being built off from the highway.
i really wasn't paying that much attention to it, just thought it was a new office building or something like that.
I think Dave needs to come out and picket them and maybe they will go away!
