  DA-ing Announcement in the Society's New Book

  the society's new book 'organized to do jehovah's will', to be released in the congregations .

  on the 20th of march, introduces a change in the df and da announcements.

  announcements will read the same: "[name of person] is no longer one of jehovah's .

  My questions are: I got a copy of March KM this week and it mentions the announcement to be made in March at the sunday meeting -- how did u guyz get info on what the announcement is about - presume some leak from London Bethel/New York ??

  Need prayers for my sister...she just got DF'd

  i'm really concerned for my sister and her husband.

  they both got df'd last thurs.

  and i found out today cause my mom called crying histerically telling me the news.

  I understand the Witness people thinking some of us are not worth their time. I asked Witness people questions and when they refused to answer, I asked them why? Two of them told me, "You're not worth the effort!".

  I am sorry for this GaryBuss. I got the same response last month with my 'elders pity visit' on me. When I asked why they had not come around to see me, they said that they were busy with renos on the KH, I said, "Excuse me, I am MUCH more important than some stupid renos, am I not?" They stuttered and stammered some stupid remark.

  FreedomFrog: I am sick over this story and so angry. Please please please find the strength to tell the media, somehow, this story. You have so many of us in your corner holding your hand. Please feel our strength with you. Let us know what you need or what we can do.

  Baby's "second head" removed -- no moral issues described?

  in this news article, a baby is described as being born with a second head, referred to as "the parasite".

  as a parent, i would have had a hard time looking at this under-developed conjoined twin as a "parasite".

  it really looks like a second child, though one incapable of independant life.

  Dave, the article never said that the parents looked at this twin as a "parasite". One cannot imagine the horror of having to make such a decision. The article respectfully refrained from mentioning their private turmoil.

  I can't imagine though why the parents would allow a newspaper to show such a picture. If it was me, I would want my 2 children's ordeal to be as private as possible.

  hi all!!!!

  i've been apart of all your stories......been lurking here since 03. you all have helped me in many ways .....i feel like i'm stepping out of the little puddle and am looking at a big ocean....so it is sink or swim for my life back.....and by reading here i feel like i am safe.....though a bit scarey!

  The Young Witness Exodus Continues

  i just found out that , on my wife's side of the family, the last witness kid has given up!.

  he was the very last one in that half of our extended witness family.

  ten years ago, i never would have.

  He committed the grievous sin of getting a tattoo ( gasp!)

  That seems unlikely. My brother got a tatoo, no df'ing, plus I know many other JW's that got one and did not even get counselled about it. There must be more to the story than this.????

  I just got access to a HUGE WT library...what do I want to get?

  my brother and his wife (still very much in) just inherited a library of wt publications dating back to the 20's.

  the best part is, it's complete with both the original watchtowers and bound volumes, in many cases there are 2 of each of the bound volumes, which i can have one of.

  i plan on doing a lot of research on here to figure out what all i need...still a "newbie" you know.
