The movie for me, sucked. I expected a thriller worthy of hitchock instead I get sesame street. It so amazingly predictable, the characters where charicatures and not people, especially the criminals.
They do such things as do a BIG CLOSEUP of the little girl's (who looks exactly like a boy) watch that moniters her glucose level or whatnot, then they have heavily charicatured vilans, the big lovable dopey black guy whos only there because of his kids, the fast talking brains of the operation and the nameless thug who is not to be trusted.
There was no good reason she couldn't have told the cops. The only real reason she didn't was because they wanted a big dramamtic ending. Same goes for not connecting the emergency line, it was soley for drama. Same goes for the girl being diabetic, soley for drama.
Oh yeah, then we are supposed to believe a guy who just had his hand smashed in the air-tight door and had several of his fingers severed and then gets knocked the $#% in the head with a sledgehammer and falls over 3 stories somehow manages to crawl back up the 3 flights of stairs very quickly and fight off a perfectly healthy jodie foster?
Also, I think that the panic room probably cost more than the $22 million that was in the safe. They really should have put a lot more money in the safe to make it beleivable the motive behind constructing that room.
