Raising Kids to be Cult Members!!!

we see the rules given to the sheep for raising their children and we shake our heads saying, dont they get it?
what is wrong with the org that it cant see how they are treating the youth?

This is for those of you who asked for my exp...

ok, this is for those of you who wanted my life experience as a jw, so here goes.. i was born to a beautiful woman/mother who was abandoned by my biological father.
my mother was raised as a jw and left in her teen years and turned to the baptist church as an adult.

That is so scary! Makes me even more motivated to get a living will drawn up, so that in the event something happens to my husband and I, it will be made absolutely clear that I don't want my children to be raised as Jehovah's Witnesses. My parents and my inlaws are both JWs!

Just got Home/Elder Dad just realized I'm Apostate

I have gotten about the same. Sent a letter (email) a few weeks back to a pioneer chock full O' my *apostate* beliefs, and haven't heard peep one from any of the elders or anyone for that matter! <just the return emails from sister shocked> Hmmmm. Perhaps times are a changin'!

I echo the thoughts of many here. I think there is a creator, however I don't find the creator to be the entity described in the bible. That God acts waaay too much like the like the men who wrote about him. I don't remember who said it but I agree with the quote that "Man isn't created in Gods image, God is created in man's image"

Oh man, LDH that is so BAD! The stuff that gets fed to poor JW kids is so sick! I remember hearing stuff like that too growing up. I remember hearing (from the platform) that if you say stuff in your head the demons can't hear you, but if you speak it out loud they can. What a bunch of superstitious hooey. Luckily your daughter has you to stablize her!
