That'll be a tough one to find. After the dubs get their bound volumes, the marked up single issues usually go in the ol' Glenwood. Wish you the best.

by Handsome Dan inmany of us that have been out and any from this organization can now stand back and derive a clear picture of why this organization started and the reason it started.

The ultimate deception is in the name itself...Jehovah's Witnesses. In the resolution of 1931 that established the name "Jehovah's Witnesses", Rutherford quoted Isaiah 43:10-12 and 62:2 in order to make the connection for embracing this name. Isaiah 43:10-12: "You are my witnesses," is the utterance of Jehovah, "even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that you may know and have faith in me, and that you may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. I -- I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior. I myself have told forth and have saved and have caused [it] to be heard, when there was among you no strange [god]. So you are my witnesses" is the utterance of Jehovah, "and I am God." Isaiah 62:2: "And the nations will certainly see your righteousness, [O woman,] and all kings your glory. And you will actually be called by a new name, which the very mouth of Jehovah will designate." The problem is that verse 4 of Isaiah 62 identifies what the new name is that his people will be called, and that new name is identified in the verse as "My Delight Is in Her" (or Hephzibah). But naturally, only the verses which are relevant to establishing this "new name", Jehovah's Witnesses, are used. Sadly, the WBTS has "played the prince" over many for scores of years, utilizing those scriptures and portions thereof which serve their purpose in maintaining spiritual enslavement of their members.
Just another example of the lengths to which greedy and unscrupulous men will go in order to continue a deadly charade for love of power and the almighty dollar.

WTS still an NGO in US?
by ICBehindtheCurtain inhi all: i came across something very interesting, in looking at this pdf there is a list of ngo's that attended for some conference on anti-semitism and guess who is on there?
if you scroll down you will find that in belgium the wts (under their european christian jehovah's witness umbrella) but if you scroll down to the us section you will find that they show up as the watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, so apparently as of 2005 when this conference was held, they were still an ngo, does anyone else know about this?.

Does Knowing the Truth Make you a Happier person?
by gumby inmany of us who were once jehovah's witnesses had a measure of happiness in our lives.
for me, i had a hope in the future, i had answers as to why we are all here, i believed in a loving god who looked after me and cared about me, i had answers to all of lifes big questions.. when i found out the truth about the witnesses, i was lost in a great big world and now had no answers other than the fact that what i once believed was "the truth" in actuality wasn't the truth.i now had to start all over in my search for truth.
for me, it wasn't long before i found what i thought was the truth since i always believed in the bible.

Since I have got re-instated I've been able to open doors that I could not open before to witnesses regarding their beliefs and I intend to keep on doing it until they kick my ass out again.
Your ass may be out the door a lot sooner than you expect. All those smiles and back-slapping when they announced your re-instatement were just a facade. The "boys" are gonna be watching you closely, as well as their "stoolies". Loose lips sink ships, so if you say something a little off kilter to the wrong dub(s) you'll be back in the hot seat again. And don't forget --- they're good at pickin' up on eye rolls, conversation pauses at the "wrong" time, and rhetoric. Happy trails, gumroy!

by Fatfreek ini hail from new bedford, mass.
i was a newbie with the jw's in the mid 50's, quickly and naively following my parents, and when i graduated high school (new bedford high) i moved to where the "need was great" in central iowa.
the following is a composite photo of some of the folks that met on the second floor of an insurance building in new bedford.

A very charismatic couple when I knew them.
And they knew it, too. When they'd come back to the ol' congo for a visit (they were in the circuit work) they were treated like visiting royalty. I was always waiting for someone to genuflect and kiss Bishop Bill's ring.

I have no respect for a religion that has basically created their own version of god. For example: the "old light"/"new light" scam. Why would god direct his people through his "channel", the faithful & discreet slave, to accept something as TRUTH, and then take out his eraser and remove what he had previously directed them to believe? "Tacking" on the part of god? It's just plain "tacky" and a con. If there is a god of truth, it certainly isn't the god of Jehovah's Witnesses.
