jehovah's witnesses seem to have drifted toward the political notion of "intelligent design" in recent years.
several times since 1996 their literature has referenced the book darwin's black box by michael behe, which book has become a kind of bible for iders.
the book introduces the notion of "irreducible complexity" in a formal way as disprove of evolution.
(just to shake off the stupidity that clings to my shoes as I walk through here)

every once in awhile people will get choked with each other and name call..usually it`s not that creative..sh*thead..assh*le..ect..then there`s my favorites like hillary_step..that guy can insult an idiot and it`s unlikely the person will ever get it..lol!

Those d*** EMT guys. That's inexcusable!!!! I've never heard of that happening before around here. They're in the wrong business......
You should not be exerting yourself at all w/a BP that high!
I know some of those mold spores are wicked. Can't your county/state people come to the house and take a sample? My son had to have that done as the family was always sick.
Nathan Natas has good info. My son had someone come in and take down sheetrock and bleach the s*** out of stuff. They wore protective gear. Then the state came in and took their own testings of air quality. The family had to stay in a hotel while this was being done.
You must find the source that is causing the mold to grow there. Otherwise it'll just keep coming back.

i don't personally believe that jesus was the son of god, or that he came to die for all mankind, but i kind of believe he may have been a historical figure with a certain amount of charisma, an ancient version of modern-day cult leaders like jim jones and david koresh.
I didn't know that either Linda...... interesting. I do feel that Jesus was a historical person, but with all due respect to others here at the forum, the jury is out as far as his godship (for me).
After leaving the JWs I have a hard time w/trusting "religious" beliefs.

yes, there are several of us that either have to go to the crap-assed assembly this year, or simply because we plan on taking notes and posting them here.
knowing how bloody boring the entire thing is, i've made some tips up on how you can keep awake during the 2007 borefest:are you really going to the assembly this year?

If there's any small kids sitting in front of you, (99.9% chance of this) start making faces at them till they start laughing. Their mothers will probably give them a smack and drag them to the bathroom for another one
My 2 teen sons would do this and mom/dad would give their kids dirty looks. I'd tell the boys to cut it out cause I didn't want to see the little ones getting punished.
So this unfortunately does happen.

what i wish i was doing is sliding out of a hotel bed with a view onto the mountains or the sea and getting ready for a lazy day by the pool being served margharitas whilst i people watch and reading my book.
i'd plan on a pizza and a salad after a vigorous swim.
possibly retiring to my air conditioned room when it gets too hot for some fun with one of my two playmates.
Crumpy girl I raised 4 kids - 3 boys + 1 girl. It was A LOT of hard work especially being a JW w/all of the mtgs. and f. service, etc. ad nauseam. Teen years were rough naturally.
But it was all worth it. Grandchildren are so enjoyable cause one doesn't have the 24 hour responsibility - mom and dad are the disciplinarians mainly and you get to do all the fun stuff!!
