I always leave the latest issue of the WT or AWAKE or perhaps a tract.
15-20% actually unless the person needs a tip to get a different job..........

Why do people always blame others ?
by JH inmy mom moved to a brand new building and i wanted to make doubles of her keys of her apartment, so i cross the street where they do that, and brought them 2 different keys to make doubles.
the first key went fine and could open that door, but the other key didn't open the door, so i went back and they tried again, so i went to moms apartment and it still didnt work, so i went back and they made an other one, and i went back to moms apartment and it still didnt work.....in all they tried 4 times and they weren't able, so i went to the cash to get my money back for the key that they werent able to make a double of....so the girl at the cash said, maybe you should get a new door lock, so i told her that it was a brand new building and a brand new door knob, so it was their fault not ours.
all that time i had a smile on my face when i want back and back and back, but when the girl at the cash said that i should try changing my door knob, then i realized how people just can't admit that they weren't able to do the job properly or they didn,t have the right key to start with to make a double.

I told my parents I no longer believe the Watchtower Society
by B_Deserter inthey insisted i come over for a debate, a chance for them to save me since according to my mother this was "a matter of life and death.
" basically i spent the whole evening passively nodding my head and acknowledging what they said.
i tried a few times to argue or debate but getting through to them was impossible.

One more dog question...bite wound!
by restrangled inas most of you know my two dobes got into a horrible fight in the street while walking them.
they are quite subdued at this point and ashamed of themselves.
(they have been together for over 5 years) with only 2 minor fights.. i have been treating wounds all week, shaving hair, applying antibiotic creams at least 4 times a day, to legs, necks, etc.

No I haven't restrangled. I would be talking to the vet tomorrow. Just to have them take a look. Animals' pain tolerance is high. You want it looked at in case he needs to be on antibiotics.

Revolution vs. Evolution
by IP_SEC insocial not biological.. i've been thinking about the differences between revolution and evolution but i cant understand why they are different.. example: religion.
revolution: communist revolution ended religion in eastern europe.. evolution: our society is slowly changing to a less religious people.. revolution: usually violent and not permanent.
evolution: non violent (though there can be conflict involved) long lasting, usually a permanent change.. .

Hey seattleniceguy!! Nice seeing you here again, but I didn't understand a damn thing you said. LOL Sorry - you expounded way over my head.
Hey Josh! How you doing guy? Take care. Peace.
Juni
REVOLUTION - big or sudden change
EVOLUTION - a gradual change
There. Simply put.
Greendawn said:
Evolution is a sort of rational scientific and impersonal concept so the highly charged emotions involved in religion or politics do not come into it. At the end of the day nobody really cares whether someone accepts it or not.
That makes sense. Good answer and easy to understand.............

Thanks Tim and Gill for the explanation.
I LOVE Mr. Bean and Monty Python which we get over here. I know that British humor is different than here - some describe it as a little "dry"? Like wine? I don't know............ LOL
Anyway..... I'll look for it.
Hugs to you both, Juni

Sure sounds like it made your weekend! LOL
Take care. Hugs, Juni
