  My dream job would involve entertaining people. Making people happy, making them laugh, and getting paid for it? Yeah, I'm all about that.

  Dave - you are almost there then - we just arent paying you a salary as yet!

  Wings - I think we might be sisters! All of those jobs I have dreamt about one time or another. Writing and having enough people sufficiently interested to buy it regularly enough to cover my bills would make me happy.

  My other dream job - Lighthouse Keeper with the interior walls spiralled with the spines of books so that I could read for eternity beneath my beacon.

  Excellent I get to start manipulating facts about our history first right? Shall I say that I am compelled by spirits who dictate what i should write? I probably need to know who the "leader" is so I can fabricate some miracle wheat and a humanitarian history, loving wife and no alcohol problem, along with some tidy manifestos about vaccinations containing pig's blood and there fore she be avoided as if they are the plague and not the cure....

  How do you view the Bible?

  God probably likes it

  This is not good. The Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Bible is fully-inspired of God. They believe that "the" Bible is the collection of 66 books found in the King James version, though they also feel that their own unique translation is the best one available. If you can't accept Noah's Ark, people conversing with donkeys, and people being executed for lying about real estate transactions, then JW's probably aren't for you.

  It crept up on me, and took me by surprise!

  life!

  i have begun to live it - instead of waiting on the 'real life' we had been promised as jw's.

  it started 4 years ago - but it moved slowly past the weeks and months of 'research', trying to find where i fit, then into an understanding that i didn't - at least not conventionally, fit anywhere, religiously speaking.

  Hurt so good... 'NEW' Tattoo

  this was my atempt to get a nice color tattoo.... .

  as you can see, it failed miserably, until tonight... got this baby taken care of, check it:.

  so remember kids, the moral of this story: good tattoos are not cheap, cheap tattoos are not good .

  What Was The Silliest "Offense" That You Were Counseled For?

  when i was a teenager, i was told by an elder that because i smiled a lot and was known for my good sense of humor, that i should come across as "more serious".

  so before i was appointed a ms, while in my late teens, i transformed myself into a much more "serious" brother.. were you ever told that you needed to work on something that you knew was stoopid?.

  For wearing a skirt that was too long. WTF!!!

  I reacted maturely by attending the next meeting, when I coincidentally had a talk to give, by wearing a much shorter one, which I made even shorter by folding it at the waist.

  I also got counselled for wearing shoes inappropriate to my age - black stilletoes when I was 14. So I responded by going out on the ministry barefoot.

  Its lovely how different JW's view of counselling (ie say something negative and disparaging to make your "brother" feel crappy and unworthy) and the rest of the world's is (ie make you feel better about actually being quite a crappy person).

  No wonder I am confused.
