in preperation for a class i'll be taking starting next month entitled "history of love, sex and marriage" i would like to probe your heart's desire to find out the 5 biggest turn on's and 5 biggest turn off's you find in men.
and well, hell, i also would just like to add to my general knowledge.

I live in New Zealand, we grew up with sunburn, the treatment for it is burn cream, just like when you burn your hand on the grill and it blisters and red etc. Most burn creams contain pain killers and ease swelling. Otherwise very cold cold showers.We have to be careful here I have had two small lumps taken out and my sister has had 5 large on arms and legs and they went deep, taking muscle leaving large scars.
Prevention is easy. You don't have to wear expensive sun blocks. Loose fitting material is fine and here the Cancer Society supplies in bulk and free at large festivals

I remember in the seventies/eighties my father had a tape recorder and would tape the ass -emblies but technology was so new he had to hold the microphone in the speakers direction and his hand would ache for hours. He kept all these tapes for years, don't know if he even listened to them. Kept him distracted from me. So I could dissapear/sleep.

Question-Did you know your family?
by Sparkplug insoledad made a comment on cruzanhearts thread that got me thinking.... what are your experiences on getting to know family members that were not witnesses.
i never knew all of my relatives and really as it was put, lost a sense of heritage.
i feel this part of the family starts with me, and i still wonder what it is like to have cousins, aunts, uncles ets?

At the age of 40 I started to get in touch with my extended family. So far its been 50/50 Some are distrustful because none of my family have been in touch for over 40 year, and didn't know I existed. Some have greeted me with open arms and are wonderful people and I guess thats it Some people are great and some are awful but just being a realtive does not change who they are.

long time sister told me yesterday that end would be here within 7 years!!
by PaNiCAtTaCk ini went to the meeting yesterday because the out of town speaker and his wife are good friends of my wife and i. after the meeting we got invited to someones house who was feeding the speaker because they know that we are friends and because ive missed lots of meetings in the last two months and my wife and i need a good love bombing!
well during our lunch i was complaining about my having braces at 30 and how stupid i looked with them and the 83 year old sisters house we were at told me that i wasted my money on them because the end would be here with 7 years anyway.
i asked her "do you really think so?

Did it ever bother you that Watchtower never did charitible works?
by AK - Jeff ini mean, for forty years believing the witness lie it always made me wonder.. judas was the keeper of the money box - and there are statements that indicated that the apostles thought that wasting money that could be used to aid the poor was sinful - so indications are that the earliest christians were doing charitible works.
of course there are many scriptural passages that encourage that activity among believers.
today all the organization ever does is pay lip service to charity.

Yes it did. I used to watch television and see all the aid/charity workers helping in the wars and troubles but you never saw any witnesses. I onced asked why if worldy were so bad that they helped each other. I never did learn to keep my mouth shut.

i need advice for throwing a party

there will be drinks, swimming poool, lounging and food, poker and black jack too!

To ensure my future, I already loved the guy, but I didn't want my parents as next of kin, also if we seperated I would get 50% (if not more) of all assets.
