Are you a JW Hater?
by MelbaToast inreading a topic in here, i came across a conversation regarding jehovah approved(tm) sports.
i noticed that two of the posters were insensed at the amount of ex-jws in this forum.. they started ignoring everyone else that had put their opinion in on the subject....and decided that everyone in this forum was a jw "hater".
i myself take offence to that, for i don't hate the jw's.

It should read:
150 If householder$ = "Not Interested" Then HTHRecord$ = "NI"
We are instructed to ask for donations even if not interested. We're supposed to ask for money so the rest of your code would be right with this one fix. I haven't asked for a single donation in six years. Less than $10 in 8 years.
I was with a pioneer once and the lady of the house donated a can of corn. After we left, I LAUGHED SO HARD! I couldn't stop! Then the pioneer said that it was a blessing for him, because he couldn't put it in the contribution box anyway! AHHHH-HAh-ha-hahhh!

i was a pioneer though and homeschooled, so i only met jws and was always of the mindset that i had to marry a jw.

they were both free to remarry 'scripturally' - in their late-middle years of life.
i asked one of the local pharrasies why?

My girlfriend's dad caught us being overly familiar, once. It seemed he was more frustrated that I had put him in the position of having to let the elders know than he was angry about our experimentation. She was the first girl that ever even made me idly consider breaking my personal "no sex until after marriage" rule. Such a tease!
Okay, maybe that was just pent up hormones on my part and it only seemed like she was teasing me... can't say for sure.
Wierd thing about it is, I wasn't repentant in the least. I didn't apologize to anyone but her and her father (mostly for causing him grief with the elders) and I wasn't reproved or shunned! You'd think the Holy Spirit would have flayed me alive as it ripped in sparking rivulets from the fingertips of the brothers who spoke with me, but no. Whew! Was I relieved!

And life will go much better for us if we use our brains wisely (Ephesian 5:15-17). Ephesians was written to an established congragation, not just to newly interested ones who might be starting a study if they can just make time in their schedule first.

by prophecor indoes anyone know what the deal is with rapper sean carter, aka jay-z and his refering to himself as jay-hovah?
its a pretty close call naming yourself such by jw standards possibly bordering on blasphemy.
does anyone know if he may've been associated with jw's at some time, and if he was, whether his choosing of the name might be a response to his no longer believing the teachings of jws?
