Take a good look at this old ex-dub the cat drug in
by Mindchild_rebooted inas you sit here quietly reading these words your transdimensional organ of neural coordination and quantum consciousness is quietly performing miracles without your waking awareness.
the uploading and downloading gigabits of information that make you, you, are silently and relentlessly radiating throughout the whole hyper-dimensional universe but most importantly to the 3 lb.
lump of flesh sitting on the top of the collective bacterial colonies (some 90% of all your cells) that make your miserable existence possible.

Hey, Skipper, what ever happened with the colony you were setting up in the remote island? Did that ever pan out?

Ex-J.W = So my Mum says NOW she's anointed and going to heaven???
by Witness 007 inyes my mum is now anointed..she is partaking of the emblems and says she "has no reason to live in paradise if we won't be there.
" so in protest she has decided to "move".....to heaven as a "king and priest.
" it turns out jehovah has invited her so that leaves 143,999 positions to be filled.

UK Charity Law Changes
by Paddington Bear inyou may or may not be aware but the charites act 2006 is now in force and it means that from end 2007 charites (including the jw's) will have to proove that they offer public benefit if they are to still retain their charitable status and in turn get gift aid on nearly every single donation and keep their tax exempt status.. the charity law association made some very interesting comments regarding the witnesses in their memorandum that was submitted in evidence to the joint commitee on the draft charites bill.
their comments on the taylorite sect of the exclusive brethren "excluding children from the family home" is also quite relevant.
this is only enidence from an outside body but it shows things could change.. http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/jt200304/jtselect/jtchar/167/4061625.htm.

New Bethel layoffs confirmed - we get our very own "special" pioneers!
by sir82 inhighlights from a recent letter addressed to our boe:.
-- a married couple is leaving bethel, assigned to serve in our congregation as special pioneers.
-- the society will pay them $600 per month, and in addition cover their health insurance .

I'm glad to know they are getting paid. Now when JWs brag that they don't have "paid clergy" we can say, "Well, aren't you all 'ministers'? ... And I know special ministers called 'special pioneers' actually DO get paid. They get paid $600 per month plus health insurance from the society... Catholic priests get paid $1200 per month plus room and board. So the Catholics are treating their 'special ministers' much better than the Watchtower Society!"
LOL! That's so funny if you think about it. Now that we know this. It levels the playing field big time!!!!

2 Witness Rule Only Applies When It's Convenient!!!
by bluesapphire inso typical... their hypocrisy.. six years ago i had a conversation with my sister who asked me what i had decided about my religion.
at that time i was going to the catholic church and i had baptized my daughters.
my exact words to her were, "well, being that if it weren't for the catholic church there would be no "bible" i have allowed the girls to get baptized catholic and that's the way i'm leaning.

HypoCRAPic OATH!
The child molester from my old hall is still there handling the accounts and the mikes.
The polygamist is still giving comments and being invited to the "gatherings".
The two couples who wife-swapped are still being love-bombed.
My sister is still hugging and loving all of these people. Heck, there were probably child molesters AT HER WEDDING. But I wasn't invited.

So typical... their hypocrisy.
Six years ago I had a conversation with my sister who asked me what I had decided about my religion. At that time I was going to the Catholic Church and I had baptized my daughters. My exact words to her were, "Well, being that if it weren't for the Catholic Church there would be no "bible" I have allowed the girls to get baptized Catholic and that's the way I'm leaning." She asked me about my husband and I said, "I don't think I should answer for him."
He was also attending Mass with us. We were all going as a family.
Well, people started shunning us. She stopped talking to me. She didn't invite me to her wedding. The invitation arrived in the name of my daughters only (how rude)!
I just heard that people all over Southern California are saying we are Catholic (my husband never did convert and I stopped attending Mass years ago!).
All of this based on a rumor spread by my sister based on a single sentence over the phone six years ago. No judicial meeting, no questions asked, no second witness, NOTHING!!!
Too bad they aren't so ON THE BALL when it comes to CHILD MOLESTERS in their midst!

Yesterday my father informed me that he will shun me...
by nvrgnbk inbut only if a judicial committee tells him to.. if they say i'm inactive and let me be, he can still talk to me.. it's meaningless, because i would never meet with a jc, but he let me know where he stands.. he's dead to me.. i'm not hurting.. lost tons of respect for the man.. i told him he was brainwashed and left him without saying goodbye.. to no longer live for his approval was liberating, but this is even better.. i told him that i couldn't do that to my son.. his response?.
unconditional love is a lie.. you only get unconditional love from a dog.. sick, brainwashed, emotionally bankrupt man.. p.s.- not looking for cyber hugs.
just sharing the experience for others going through similar things and for lurkers to see what this cult does to people.. regards,.

And if youwould rather that i not come to your home i will certainly understand that also and will comply accordingly in witch case they can come see me.
Typical witness presumptuousness to assume that you will allow them to come see her!
