  Barrasso: "I think actually we would ... We'd really focus on it. We'd have more, as you say, skin in the game. And especially if they had a savings account - a health savings account - they could put their money into that, and they'd be spending the money out of that."

  Obama: "Would you feel the same way if you were making $40,000. Or if that was your income? Because that's the reality for a lot of folks."

  HA! I loved that part too. Did you see the look on Barrasso's face? They just don't get it.

  I got a totally different take on it from BTS (surprize surprize). The Republicans had a chance to show up with some ideas of their own and all they did was parrott each other the entire time: "Scrap it" "Start over" "Point by point".

  Of course they want to do all those things. They hope NOTHING gets done EVER!

  The Democrats showed up with their bill, the President presented his ideas on line ahead of time. They could have shown up with something more than just "NO ... HELL NO!"

  But they failed. And everyone witnessed it!

  the elders stopped by today.

  they spoke of a new arrangement where the org is asking everyone to come back regardless of their sins.

  they just want them to come back with impunity.

  i respect those who come here from abroad (legally) but i can't help being amused at some of the things that are uttered from their mouths.

  i live in a area where a good portion of my neighbors are of mexican american descent.

  yesterday a neighbor 2 doors down was yelling at her son to quit teasing their german shepherd.

  My 5 siblings and I regularly make fun of our mom and dad and their accents and funny little ways they say things. We think it's cute too. Endearing.

  don't walk around a convention with your child if you are not wearing a convention badge.. you will be questioned as if you are a peadophile.

  they will even check with your child (whatever their age) whether you are their parent.. it happened t me.. .

  to make it worse an announcement encouraging children to 'seek help' from someone wearing a flourescent jacket.

  What if the attendant is a pedophile who didn't have two witnesses to the abuse? And give me a break, as if wearing a lapel that says you are a JW means you are NOT a pedophile.

  Burns, figures we are on opposite ends here as usual.

  So you are basically one of those people who make statements like:

  1. If you don't believe in the Trinity, you are not a Christian.

  2. If you don't believe in Hellfire, you're not a Christian.

  etc. etc.

  Yet those sects of Christianity who don't believe in these things would beg to differ (JW's for example). Who are you to say what is and what is NOT Christianity? Someone can be a follower of Jesus and not believe every book of the NT, for example (Martin Luther), or in the interpretations (speculations) of leaders. They might classify ***themselves*** as Christians.

  I realize this is your opinion, as well as my own.
