CO calls meeting to discuss association with my parents
by Stress Free ini'm so furious at the moment my keyboard is smoking whilst i'm typing this message.
i just got informed through one of my contacts that at the recent visit to my parents cong the visiting co brought the elders together to discusss with my father who is still an elder, to decide if he should be allowed to associate or even speak with me.
who in the hell do they think they are?

Raymond Franz
by KW13 inraymond franz was a member of the governing body and was a jw for many years till he left.. he wrote a book which provides a great insight into jw's but what is really good about it is he isn't bitter when he comes across and so far i am really enjoying the read.. also in there are copies of letters sent from him to the society or the other way around and i recommend anyone who can find it should read it!.

Yes, a great book by a humble man. When a friend suggested that we read it, well...I shied away from his suggestion, I mean, I had heard about this guy in the 80's and it was not complimentary. The I got a copy from commentary press. WOW.... the GB is just a mothers club, with as much HS as anyone else.

Whose been ripped off financially by his JW brother?

i worked for jw doing back breaking work for a while only to be told by another jw that he was ripping me of - he was paying me half the going rate.
i was only 17 and naive didn't know anything about the world of work.

Didnt get ripped personally, but we had one smooth operator, who sold aluminium siding. He took the customers money and ran. He was a study fast tracked for greatness. He left town, popped up somewhere else and started his study again.
Next thing he is in some photos in an Awake! magazine.
Imagine trying to place that one to some of his ripped off customers!
Probably an elder somewhere...... -

So jwfacts, you had any yourself?
I know a couple of women who see these kinds of spirits, and one actually does the "crossing over" stuff. Does she have some amazing stories. Never really experienced it myself. Read a couple of books by a spiritual healer called Betty Shine.....Interesting. If the WTS is not dictating your beliefs, any thing is possible. -

It is hard to understand how it could be denied that the WTS has instructions for dealing with hiding things and avoiding stuff when they arte given to you to write in the elders almanac on the mysterious page 143?

Did the elders ask for sexual details at your Judicial meeting?

i personally know of two cases where the witness being disfellowshipped was asked to provide excruciating details about the exact nature of the "sex crime" that they had committed.. having read the secret elders manual "pay attention to yourselves and all the flock" i know this is standard operating procedure for a judicial hearing.

I agree, very sad that they feel they have to ask those kinds of questions. Remember the mind set when you were there, as part of the borg. You want to be clean before Jah. You want nothing to hinder your trip to paradise.
If you are told that these guys on your JC are there to "help" you, and that they will bring you back onto the course you strayed from, then most people, no matter how embarrassing and difficult it is, will tell all. They were appointed by HS were'nt they?
I have served on JC's. Judge and jury. I am like JT very sorry for doing that. If I could undo it I would. Did I ask embarrassing questions, perhaps, but the pantie thing and questions about where, when frequency in one night....... And then there is this thing where you have a sister, single or married, there in a room with at least three guys, no support, not a parent, husband.
In most of the cases I had been on, the person had confessed to one elder, who then followed WTS procedure, notified the PO, who then arranged for a JC. The JC were then told so and so has done___________ and it seemed unnecessary to ask to much, especially if they had already spilled their guts.
But some of these guys dont/didn't have the internet and access to porn, a JC could be as close as they will get to getting a bit extra. -

i have some information in relation to the dates 607bce and 587/586bce, with the simple explanation of the 70years exile.
the wt still sticks with the 607bce due to the fact that the governing bodys explains that the jews returned back at about 537bce, assuming that they were finished with their bondage.
