the first time you went to bed or had same gender sex with your partner after leaving the jw experience, how did you feel?
and what led to this event, could you put it into words?.

the district convention is 2/3 done.
would have been better to have stayed home and pulled out my fingernails.
they spouted the usual crap, using the inter-organizational social pressures to push the r&f to do more, do more, do more.. they warned about pornography.
one more thing....
How does the WTS know what goes on behind closed doors...or is this a BETHELITE thing?
hahahahahahaha,

quote:
They told all the wives that the "brothers" who are doing the peek-a-boob, are on late at night or early in the morning. Now the wives will be doing the watching for the big "O" and keeping the "brothers" pure as the driven snow.
ala comedian Chris Rock:
"Your woman will do any freaky or nasty thing you want, if you ask with authority" LoL
The WTS better make sure the wives dont start making unrealistic demands of their hubbies based upon their Net-Porn viewing. LoL
BTW.....ANY JW brethren who want porn, forget the NET crap, and visit my "GENTLEMENS CLUB" (the term Gentlemen is used rather loosely) and get your porn LIVE!!!
LMAO, Boozy
woe to those who stumble the least of these .
"let he who is without sin cast the first stone" .
[note: this is a sickening story, and goes to the heart of why many youth among jws end up leaving their religion.
TRULY DISGUSTING!!!

elders: comfort the depressed souls not .
sister hurting was going through some difficult times, both physically and emotionally.
she sought professional medical help.
Hello Amazing,
Once again, this post points out the lack of Christlike principles where many of the Elders are concerned. Some simply want to judge. I feel deeply for that sister.
But I am not surprised. In my last congregation, there was a 20-something brother, with barely any family, and he had severe emotional problems. He was on medication, but attended whn he was able to. He also joined in FS.
Sad to say...he passed away...there was NOT even an announcement to the congregation.
My point is this...Elders have their impressions of people, and and if ou are not a favorite, you dont get the respect deserved.

ok. we ran a thread recently about starting a new religion.. how about we start an international congregation here on the board.. we need 7 elders.
7 being a sign of perfection..er....yeah.. we need ministerial servants.. appointments will be general concensus..er holy spirit i mean.. p.o.
lets start with him.
DJ's are notorious for hookin up the mari-juana. And all that WORLDLY music. That must put me in line to be the PO's son.

hi everyone: i am not trying to swamp the board with my justice series, but i wanted to get it to you in a timely manner so that some will not miss one, and then it gets lost way down the board.
also to facilitate this, i am providing the list in case you may have missed any and want to recover them or have me repost them:.
posted so far.
Amazing,
Thanks for your tireless efforts with your Justice Series, and your insightful contributions to this board in general.
As you know, you've ALREADY wet my appetite for #13

what are your dreams and aspirations and ideally what would you like to do with your life given the chance?
how far along are you in delivering upon your objectives?
Happiness is.....a room full of happy, slightly buzzed folks jammin to ME, as I spin my turntables with hot, soulful, thumping underground music(yes, REAL DJ's STILL use records).
Also, the smiles and giggles of a small child~~~~~> Priceless!!!
A word for this board??? DIVERSITY, RESPECT, COMMUNITY. Ok, so thats 3 words, but higher edjumacation was discouraged when i wuz growin up.

how many on this board are: a) christains--not a jw b) jehovah's witnesses c) do not believe in god d) have a belief in god but just not active in anything right now.
i'm new to the board and was curious as to everyone's standing.
i'm 30, a christain, i left the jws 3 years ago (after being in it for 21 years) to follow jesus and heard of, among other good things, this great thing called: grace!
"How many on this board are: a) Christains--not a JW b) Jehovah's Witnesses c) Do not believe in God d) Have a belief in God but just not active in anything right now"
a) Yes
b) No-exiled 5 years ago
d) Yes, but does he need a name? Will never belong to an organized religion again.(and dont anyone get smart and ask if I will belong to a disorganized religion) LoL
Religion exploits what i belive is our god-given spirituality. We are his children, and religions (just check the bloodiest wars in human history, or the atrocities mankind has visited upon each other, and you will find religon calling the shots) will separate us, not only from one another, but fro god himself.

some of you may recall that mommie's older jw brother was critically injured in a fall at work last winter.
he fell 30 feet from a ladder and landed on his hardhat; his initial prognosis of doom gave way to astonishment when it was discovered that he had broken no vertebrae... no permanent spinal injury at all.
after weeks in a drug-induced coma, the swelling on his brain subsided, and he woke, complaining, to the great relief of all family members, who recognize irascibility as normal behavior for one of us.
Mommie, glad to hear your bro is on the road to recovery.
JanG, you tripped UP the stairs??? Ok, that settles it.....from now on, I will have someone carry me up from the bar.
