My DVD of this cracked on the inside (you know, in the centre area). I can still play it, but that's annoying and I don't know how it got that way.
And the annoying thing is that I paid 38$ for it, and it's now 17$.
just watched "monty python and the holy grail" on a two-disc dvd purchased at target.
among the numerous extras are: a very well done animated version of the "we're the knights of the round table....." vaudeville musical number using sets and characters entirely constructed from lego pieces (including the poor fellow in the dungeon, clapping his hands to the music); the scene with the french knights "taunting" the british knights, with japansese dialogue and english subtitles (the translations are hysterical), sing alongs, including the lyrics to the scene with monks chanting and smiting themselves with boards, and too much else to mention.
i haven't laughed so hard since i saw the movie the first time.

i'm watching family guy and wondering what happened to you?
you haven't posted since july, i think.
i miss you, you remind me of my friend, mark (from new minas) .
You watching American Dad? You see what they just ate?
It's only 6:40 here so I can't watch it yet, but looking at the schedule the episode, "Deacon Stan, Jesus Man" is on. It was pretty good, but they're just showing reruns still.
I think I'll watch the Lord of the Rings Trilogy tonight (just got it).

What? What channel is Family Guy on?
Global or Fox, if you're actually asking. And Teletoon has it on every night around 9pm or 9.30 or 10 or 10.30. Somewhere around there.
One of the captions they have in the presentation...is 'Impart Faith in Christ' and the soldier is brandishing an automatic weapon. Have a look..
Irrelevent. You said, "Impart Faith in Christ... with an M4." Just because two things are right next to each other, doesn't mean that they are converting people with M4's: it's taking two things out of context and melding them together for a sensationalistic title.
Classicist........I did not say they forced conversions in actual fact.
"Impart Faith in Christ... with an M4." It seemed like you were more than implying it to me, but if I misunderstood, I apologise. (though the definition of "impart" would lead one to think otherwise).
I thought the armed forces already had representatives to administer religion etc.
Yes, but this website centres on soldiers making their tour a "Christ-centered duty." It's definitely silly, but it's certainly been taken it out of context.
I was against the war and even wrote my congressman but I do know this. I would rather live in the U.S.A than anywhere on earth. At least we have that right to criticize our leaders and if enough people think something needs to change then it does. Personaly I think the above site is sick and wrong. But that is only my opinion. It's OK for others not to agree with me. I have that right because of men in the past that died in war to keep all of my hairy ass free. Thank God for these men and women.
Has anyone actually looked at that site? It's about a group of soldiers who minister to other soldiers; the worst they do is skydive.
ISP,
Where do they encourage forced conversions?
The website is called "Force Ministries," not "Forced Ministries." If I look at the site correctly, it's geared toward Christians in the military.
Stupid website? Yes, but guilty of what you charge it with? Well, I haven't look through it all, but perhaps you can show where they advocate forced conversion.
Ha Ha!
It is money, go into MSN Messenger, you can form it by going (mo).

My favourite Arabic proverb is applicable here: "Trust in God, but tie up your camel."

I'm making mixed vegetable samosas right now.
Here's how I made them: I bought them from the store, put them in the oven, and voila, delicious samosas. It's much better when you make it yourself.
IOW, I have no culinary ability.
