Only faders have these kind of problems. Getting outed will happen again, if they keep using social media.

How IGNORANT can you be and still be a Jehovah's Witness in GOOD standing?
by Terry inas i have said many times, i did not really study jw teachings in depth until i went to prison.. i had a period from 1959 to 1967 when i---sort of----could explain things to a shallow depth.
once i entered that profound place in my head (while in federal prison) when everything got serious.....i entered a secret room, so to speak, where.
all the mysteries were hidden!.

JWs need a continous dose of public ridicule to snap them out of their stupor- most folks just say, "I'm not interested, which is no deterrant at all to JWs and their time consuming WT public sales religion model.

Lot's of talk on the July Watchtower?
by noonehome inso i've heard lots of talk from within about the 'new light' in this watchtower...i'm yet to look at it in any detail.
i'm kind of surprised actually...i first heard about it here before it was even available but close to the time it did come out people started bringing it up - even our co.. some say things like "have you heard about this?
" or "big changes," or "allot of things they said we believed, i didn't realize,"(lots of that) or "brain-overload" or " too much information, but i've never felt more pumped up" or "it's soo exciting to see jehovah's spirit lead his organization..." or "it requires time to sink in, but it's a good feeling!

JWs are forward looking people and the latest Watchtower is as fresh as a new roll of toilet paper- they conveniently forget what the old WTs got used for.

My daughter worked for one of those psychic hotline companies about 15 years ago when she live in California- she answered a newspaper help wanted adv-
" Psychic wanted- will train"- no joke, they had a script and learned how to keep talk the talk-- back then the caller got the first 5 minutes free- then the call meter started running.

It's not worth the trip, folks.
JWs come to door, householder has an epiphany and says nothing important, closes the door and JWs leave.

I worked one day on that Plant City building- came back a few weekends later and saw all the can/recessed light fixtures I installed had been ripped out and relocated to different spots. I took this as an omen that my efforts weren't needed. So as not to disappoint my wife, I spent the rest of the afternoon at the flea market. I did fake work a couple more times- at the urging of my wife, to help out- instead, I went to the movies, rather than working on the assembly building. I never did another hour of work for any WT project after that. I guess my slide had started.

!!!!INTERESTING DEVELOPMENT!!!! this morning. Family member hears TTATT.
by Gojira_101 inso my husband's brother called him this morning.
i will call his brother earl (fake name :) so earl calls him out of the blue, hubby hasn't talked to him in a few months.
earl was never baptized and left jw's in his later teens and the family has also thought he was a low life and the black sheep of the family.

Family Budgeting
by skeeter1 inhow do you budget?.
as a jw, we never had "classes" on family budgeting.
the world was going to end, so who cared about paying off credit card bills, retirement savings, etc.

Budgets? What is that? Many JWs I knew put off car maintenance- they ran it until she broke down. I saw JWs who had no vacation time, lose their jobs in order to go to a summer convention- Jehoover will bless and provide was the attitude. I wonder how many JWs get into needless car wrecks because they are driving cars with bald tires and worn out brakes.
Having a modest, dead end job is a blessing, if the JW can pioneer- dang it, that low income single pioneer brother might be able to marry a gorgeous sister who values a brother who pursues WT theocraptic goals instead of a career and a ranch house in the suburbs.

Public Apology Nathan Natas
by Simon ini'd like to offer a public apology to nathan natas for making a wrong decision when i deleted him.. i allowed a combination of previous issues we'd had and input from other forum members to bias my decision which lead me to what i now, in hindsight, believe to have been a mistake.. whether you want to come back and post here or not i wanted to at least say sorry and will reactivate your account..

Talking about the old KH days- reminds me of all the theocraptic privileges I am missing out on this weekend.
