  it was stressed time and again how the fds in the body of the gb are to be obeyed.

  a speaker said the fds only gives suggestions/direction/guidance.

  three minutes later he's saying that if we don't heed the "suggestions" offered by the gb, it is tantamount to disobeying almighty god.

  Sounds like you got all the affirmation you needed Zac:)

  The last convention I attended in 2003 very nearly made me physically sick. I knew that only a couple of years before and I would have been lapping up all that bull as though I should be grateful to be so deceived. I'm hoping to catch a convention here in Aus, I doubt I'll last the full distance as you did though. Good for you for doing it though, as I'm sure the experience of using your enquring mind for the first time at one of these things has done you much good.

  MY ADVENTURE AT THE ASSEMBLY......

  to start my day with: as i was walking down the street towards hell the assembly, i went to cross halfway across the road when a cheese and cracker brother told me that i should "cross at the light so that others can see that jehovah's people are law abiding citizens.

  stick my lapel badge up his ass sideways make a good impression so i waited until he was distracted by other jaywalkers and then dashed across the road complied with his suggestion.

  once in the building i managed to find a seat next to a guy who looked remarkably like fat bastard was a bit on the plump side.

  no seriously Luna we had chronic mold problems in our new kh back in the early 90s! was still a problem when I paid my last visit there for a wedding back in 02!

  Pay, Salary etc

  i discovered today that my company are paying newbies (trainees) considerably more than me,.

  i'm a bit miffed about it to be honest.

  i don't think i'm on a bad wage, but it doesn't seem right that.

  private companies suck for this. Usually happens when you come in on a low level entry position and work your way up the ranks. They meter out a payrise to you every six months and you get really excited, but then they employ outsiders and pay em' more! This happens everywhere and it really sux. I suggest you should make a stand at your next review, provided that your feel you've got good legs to stand on with the quality of your work, and tell them you've heard that the new starting salary is over and above what you're being paid, and you'd like to clarify your personal worth to the company.

  During the CO visit

  for those familiar with the co schedual, when during the week, does the co discuss with the other elders about inactive ones in the congregation?

  or when will the co and his wife be likely to be invited for a meal at some brothers home, or be invited to a bible study with someone?.

  starting tuesday through sunday, what's a typical co schedual?

  He will then proceed to give a public talk on Sunday, invoking everyone to buy into the gash served up by the WTBTS and implore them for more money. He needs a new car soon, his is really dirty and no one has offered to wash it.

  Mary's back!! you really scared a few people on da board, they thought you'd be swallowed up by the convention monsters!

  We were also told that we should be grateful for all the crap that comes from the minds of senile old men in New York spiritual food the GB provides and that we "can't afford to be picky eaters----we have to eat everything."
