  I really blew it......I am the nightmare householder!

  i really blew it yesterday.

  we had just gotten home from a very long day and we were contemplating what to do for dinner and then a knock at the door.

  the sister was back with an elder and he asked to speak to my husband...completely got his name wrong.

  i have to hate them

  hopefully i've given something to someone here over the years.

  i know i've taken plenty.. i had to come here, the only place where i can say what i have on my mind and know that people will understand.. i took an overdose of medication on monday.

  my long battle with anxiety and depression that is well chronicled on these pages got the best of me once again.

  let's see, on the 20th and 21st is my husband's family reunion.

  then we have one day to "relax" which we will use to pack and drive up to raliegh where we are going to fly out rdu.

  from there, we will have a lay over, then up to seattle.

  were your parents critical of your jw friends and non-critical of your worldly friends?.

  we attended a kingdom hall with less than 100 publishers.

  my dad never had a good word to say about any of my jw friends, they were all un-theocratic.

  my dad was a little critical of JW friends especially my male JW friends. Never said much bout worldy friends coz i never brought any of them home es

  there are a large number of very smart people here.

  a vast array of intelligences has a power and scope quite out of the ordinary.

  ask a question you've always wanted to know (not necessarily religious in nature; just in general) from trivia to personal inquiry......let it out now.

  Im obviously not one of those woman i cant go two days without it. But I think for the majority of woman it depends on there partner. When married to my ex husband I could go months without it but with my fiance now its all the time es

  but my biggest worry was my fear of persecution.

  Seeker4 - divorce final today

  after 33 years of marriage, my divorce became final today.. my wife is still a jw, though i left a decade or so ago.

  we always thought we'd be the exception that would stay together despite one of us no longer believing.. a very bittersweet day.

  she was a terrific wife in so many ways.. s4

  why do jw's spend so much time judging one another and tell the elders when they perceive someone breaking a wt rule?

  jesus said that his followers would be recognised for the love thay had among themselves.

  so, what gives with this watchtower religion?

  Because no one has a life in the "truth" and so they thrive on gossip and judgin others it gives them something to live for es

  Do JWs Actually Have Less of a Divorce Rate Than Other Religions???

  i think so.

  very few couples got divorced, even after they were caught with another person.i know that most that got df'd for straying still didn't get divorced----they tried to work it out.

  Perhaps overall they do but ive know heaps including myself that have sep and divorced.Although most of us left the truth when we were doin it tho es
