  well maybe not a friend but some one i have known for 55 years.

  she and her family were at one time associated with the jws, except her husband.

  her sons left the org.

  i was molested by a brother in my congregation when i was nine years old.

  when i told my mother she went directly to a family friend and respected elder to seek advise.

  a couple days later, he and another elder made a visit to our home and questioned me for hours.

  happy to read you again... (and happy you feel at ease here!) If you need to talk, don't have an hesitation, post, we'll be here. But it can also be a good idea to have some counselling, as Joyzabel said,maybe it can help you to live with that difficult past.Have you ever thought about that?

  Help and advice needed soon , please

  i am looking for some advice to hopefully prevent me going mad.

  my husband (an elder) was disf?d by the jws 8 years ago for having an affair with me and consequently leaving his wife.

  he has 4 grown-up children and 9 grandchildren.

  Why English Food/Beer is better.........Meat Pudding Tales.

  steak and kidney meat pudding....... beefsteak cubed with kidney, wrapped in a suet dough with gravy and placed in a pudiing and boiled in a cloth tied at the top for 2-3 hours depending on size (be sure to top up the boiling water) .when done, undo the cloth and slice the pudding.

  add english mustard (not that french crap) salt, pepper, and a dash of worcester sauce.

  serve with new potatoes and mushy peas.
