  i would like to know why you still beleive in god and what, based upon the bible, leads you to believe in god.. i likethe scripture that states the earth was a circle and hung upon nothing.

  i also find that there is evidence the flood existed.

  anybody know the stats of the "supposed" ark on mr. ararat?.

  I did believe in God and the Bible for some time after I left the Borg, but since then after examining some things I arrived at the same conclusion as another thinking person did, that is:

  "If god exists then he/she is a sadistic bastard"

  I wouldnt allow my kids to go through what "god" allows his children to go through. And if we are his imperfect "image" and dont have the love that he does, then that makes no sense at all.

  And that Franz character should also accept the councel from Jehovah and return to the fold where he can disappear into oblivion and repetative menial and useless tasks like so many of the wonderful drones ... oops I mean Brothers.

  homophobia is a mis-nomer

  since phobia means "afraid of", i think the term homophobia should be clarified.

  to most people i would be considered homophobic, howeve, i'm not afraid of homos, i just don't like them.

  If we assume that homophobia is a short version of homosexualphobia, then we can begin there.

  The fear of another homosexual is not the only possibility, there is also the fear of homosexual thoughts within oneself. Most psychologists recognise that fears and hatred often stem from fears and hatreds of ones inner self.

  I would imagine, although I may be corrected, that if you were to wake up one morning and realise that you were fantasizing about having sex with a man that once it came to your conscious awareness, fear would not describe adequately what you would feel.

  Most likely you would be feeling sheer terror, terror of what may be inside of you and in this case, you do indeed have homophobia.

  Personally I am not a homosexual and I find nothing stimulating about thinking of men in a sexual way. It is a turn off for me.

  Maybe you would do well to examine your motives for the "repulsion" and hatred that you feel towards homosexuals. I am not suggesting that you learn to enjoy erotic thoughts about them, but in the same way that you can accept the thought of an unnatractive couple having sex, you should be able to accept that some people, right or wrong according to your moral code, are homosexual and have every right to be so. Each to his/her own.

  I find that judging others is neither healthy nor beneficial for oneself.

  with all of the america bashing going on of late, i thought i'd mention the fact that america stands for freedom, as flawed as our system may be.

  you're even free to be critical of the government and it's leaders.

  the many men and women who have died defending this country did so to preserve the rights even of people who hate the u.s. there are many different cultures here, so there are many different attempts at creating laws for the land.

  Got Busted By Wife?She Said She Want Tell.(update)

  i recently picked up the nasty habit of smoking.

  i have been hiding it from my wife for about a month now,(she is still a witness) to make a long story short i only smoke when i drink and go to the casino.

  in lake charles well she busted me and was actually nice about it and said it would be our secret as long as i did not bring them in the house are ever smoke around the kids.. sounds like she might be comming around maybe, i only hope.. anyway i had to tell someone.
