My first post---Boy do I need help!!!!!!!!

i got into a relationship with a jw.
i worked with her for over a year, got hurt on the job and was recovering for about 5 months.

Welcome my friend you will recieve alot of good advice here. But speaking from expierence, do not bother with proving doctronal issue yet-----being a kid raised in truth that is not the reason they are in or out they don't care about that stuff all they care about is displeasing their parents and elders and they know to get involved with a "worldly person" is wrong..............so go to the Memorial and see for yourself you will be looked at with a questioning motive and approached for a study.............if you accept or refuse she might be forced to avoid you it is up to you...........it stinks but this is the mind set.

WHY do they stay?!?!
by Pwned ini just dont get how people can stay in a religion that constantly changes the "truth".
never mind the scandals, that is a seperate issue.
but the foundation of a religion is its doctrine, how can you believe an organiztion that constantly changes it.

The fog began to clear the Sunday my hubby was conducting the WT concerning the generation change. My hubby said "this is a red flag to me, they are just trying to slip this by the friends like it is no big deal---------BUT IT IS A BIG DEAL" That was the beginning of the end for us we began seeing the "emperor with no clothes on" I just want to shout the truth "he is naked and exposed" but we had to keep silent and research and learn things we should of learned about the Society long before we raised our family in a cult-------------people stay out of fear of honesty and exposing it.........

Just like you grow up and learn Santa Claus is not really I wonder is Jehovah a made up entity of the WT-----------but for my own heart and mind I need to believe and know there is a God who cares about us humans in a loving way, not in a way to crush, kill, or destroy the way the WT teaches.

Our family was very active---------------CRAZY PEOPLE---------------------I was always looking for that inner peace the Bible promised us at Philipians 4:7 and I thought the more I helped people learn about Jehovah the more peace of heart I would feel------------what a let down Now all the folks we helped in I feel sorry for. They don't understand what is going on with us----------------to be truthful I don't have a clue either I just take it day by day moment by moment wondering if there is ever inner peace?

need to vent - just got off phone with mom
