The WT in the past said " you can go to college ONLY if you intend to pioneer" I had a big problem with that reasoning...............in other words the rest of you dummies can flip burgers if you are not going to be a pioneer. How many do you know got a college degree, then came back and devoted their educated brain to a brainless work of walking the streets with the rags sorry mags for the Tower? Very few from where I am at, so you see they know they have to back peddle on this bad decision. The drama at this convention was all about this and what a BAD choice you make if you decide to go to college......you reap the negative attitude of the congregation...........Don't be fooled my friends there are loads of educated people running the show in Brooklyn.........................

by JH inwhy is it that each time my cat poops in her litter box she runs around the apartment full speed afterwards as if she pulled a trick on me?.
why is it that my cat wants me to put more food in her bowl even though is's half full?
and then once i do, she looks contented that the bowl is full, but doesn't eat any...

I'm trying hard to take care of strays (2) in my barn, I want to catch them and have them fixed, if you know what I mean. They are so timid, they hide when I put food out, but how can I win their trust? I talk to them when I see them, I even gave them names: Scruffy, and Annie (I can tell she is a female) so can you all give me some ideas?

What I don't understand why would it be sent to her work. Do you think there is a Witness that works there and sent it to the boss. Or maybe there is a relative that is witness and sent it........it just don't make sense why a witness would send that to someones work...............but then again they are weird.

I Can't Believe JW Relative Called

his mom calls once every few months, but only to ask for money (yes, she is a mooch).

As you have experienced: JW BREAK UP FAMILIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no matter how they sugar coat their words, they destroy families under the guis of a loving God..........................so sad. You BIL might be reflecting on his life, and is trying to repair what damage he caused, so be cautious but be loving, and in the end you might help him out of this "loving religion" that I am sure God has nothing to do with..............

Why Can't We Be Friends

great memories of kick ball, dirt bomb wars, hot wheels, etc.. i had plenty of friends when i was a teenager.
great memories of cruising ashley street in valdosta, listening to the radio, playing board games.. i had plenty of friends when i was in my 20's.

It has been said "we go through our whole life, and just maybe we can count on one hand our closest friends, that's a fact" many of us have acquaintances through out our life, but a true close friend is hard to find.....it has to be a person that has gone through lifes experiences with you and one that would be there through thick or thin..............someones who loves you if you are rich, or poor, a friend who just listens when you need them too, or just sit with you in silence when you need them too.............I have been blessed to of found a friend like this, I hope one day you all can have one, it is a true comfort to have someone like this in you life...............just my thoughts........

WTS Emergency Meeting
by doinmypart inthe disaster relief committee at patterson organized 3 meetings this past memorial day, monday september 5, 2005. the meetings were held in lake charles, louisiana; bossier city, louisiana; and ball, louisiana.
over 1,200 elders were in attendance from louisiana, missouri, arkansas, and texas.
i took horrible notes, but want to share a few things.. the elder opening the meeting emphasized the importance of confidentiality.

I agree with BD...................you knew you didn't matter in the congregation, and at times you get the same feeling here..........so why tell anyone if you are taking a break? It is just another school yard with the popular kids getting all the attention, and rest of us just observe...................
