  because it shows everyone in the community how cruel, unloving, hateful and distorted the cult can be at a moment's notice.

  when a jw shuns an ex-member in public as the ex-member greets the jw with a smile and in a friendly manner the normal reaction of people who see this is repugnancy.

  they see how hypocritical the jw's are because they go 'from house to house' proclaiming their love for other people and then display their real hearts when they encounter an ex-member.

  You are so right when you said that statement. My friends in my neighborhood have asked me so many questions as to why the JW's shun and what the JW's believe.

  Most of them reply with: They can't believe that a religion teaches their members to shun family members because they choose not to be a JW's any longer. 'What religion teaches their members, not speak to their parents, children, siblings...that is sick." (That was a statement made to me, just yesterday by a 81 years old man who asked me about my family).

  Still Alive!!

  i realize i haven't been around in a few days.

  i just want to say that i'm still alive, but work is killing me.. so between work, "recreation", and regular meeting attendance, i've been pretty busy.

  i'm still here though, and i often read but don't post.... i'll be back in a few though.... so send me a pm or email, and keep in touch..

  Update on sunspot

  it went well, the plastic surgeon doesnt think its cancer or could turn to cancer but he wants to take it out anyway, as the nurse said we have sent things off we didnt think was cancerous and they returned back being cancer.

  the only downfall is for a 10 min surgery i have to pay $1000 for the hospital for the day, and on a pension its almost impossible.

  so they gave me the number of another surgeon who operates in his centre rather than hospital, so its cheaper, so just waiting for referral and then i will be seen by him.

  I have the fake nails for about 7-8 years and I love them. (for years I had them painted, but now I like the french manicure look) Same with the pedicures....toenails that are painted w/sandels look nice.

  if you haven't already related to us the experiences at bethel that you told to your mom-in-law, (or even if you already have told us) could you tell us about what you told her.....and...what is "g-jobbing" (sorry for my naivity) .

  i didn't want to take away from sl post about his mother but i thought a little insight into the world of the bethelites would be interesting this am.

  This story is something. No wonder some of the behelites never leave HQ...their making a lot of money on the side.

  as you all know by now the spokesman for the wt is a guy named JR Brown as a black man we use to call the the Society's Louis Farrakan

  the most powerful speaker every to Grace a wt mike esp in the black community ........

  anyway when he bought his new car alot of the Heavies and i don't mean to get racial,but some of the White boys were not happy

  As they would say in the black Hood ""This Negro went out and bought a $45,000 car"

  When I got married the 2nd time around....JR Brown gave my wedding talk.

  Ozzie is in hospital again.

  i received an sms last night from ozzie himself saying on saturday he collapsed and had to be taken by ambulance to hospital.. he is being operated on again this morning (wednesday 29/6/05 australia time).

  as usual with the particular operation he is having there are serious risks.

  i ask his friends to send anything positive his way today.
