I never had a first love until the guy I am with now. Thanks to my JW upbringing I was pretty much alone until I made my fade... I am so in love with this guy. He is so in love with me. I waited all my life starving for affection and now I am bombarded with it...

Hi Tsunami.
Of course you won't be on your own forever. But its best not to force these things. Make yourself available get out there and meet people by all means. But just let things take their natural course.
By the way good talking to you yesterday...

The most monumental conversation with my mom and dad.
by Daunt inat the meeting today, me and my family were sitting in the back.
i've been heavily emotional lately because of the katrina disaster and my temper and sadness and all emotions have just been on a rise lately.
well my dad was noticing that i was frowning so my father got sort of angry with me and demanded that i stop.

Such a wise head on such young shoulders.
I'm sorry to hear what a difficult time you are going through. I think the family issue is the hardest one of all once you come to terms with the realisation that the religon is a sham.
I wish I could give you a pearl of wisdom instead I offer you friendship and support. Remember people here will always be ready to listen.

Good work FMW!
Its amazing isn't it. Church is nothing like I expected it to be. I'm glad your enjoying the experience. Just go with the flow. If it feels right do it. If it goes against the grain - abstain.
I enjoy the fellowship from church too.

Merry - that was such an interesting passage you posted from Philip. Although those Gnostic books are not part of the official bible I do find them to be interesting and relevant. Its like anothe point of view I guess. I've really tried to absorb the passage but I am having a dumb day. I don't get the whole gift and payment thing...?
Honesty - I've often read your posts here. I find you to be so passionate about what you belief. Actually I was hoping for you to reply to my thread because I was interested in what you would say. Sometimes you write something that just makes me stop... and contemplate... It stimulates me.
