Today was a trying day with our 2 year old, so said to my wife, I wonder how Jesus was as a kid. If he was always into mischief, tantrums. She said he was perfect, so no he wasnt. That begged the questions, which my wife quickly dismissed as stupid and tuned me out, but what is the perfect child? I mean, did he ever stub his toe? Did he ever have diareah? At what age did he start speaking, so that we may know the perfect age that kids should start to talk? I could think of a ton of more questions, and I am sure you will post some more. But this is the kind of thing that i told my wife is easy to say(he was perfect) but hard to think about. Any thoughts?

by gringojj ini understand that the wts has investments, stocks, real esate, mortgage company, car sales, finance company, publishing company, and i am sure they have other interest that i dont know about.
how can they say they are no part of this world?
they make a big deal that they dont vote in elections, but isnt having all these investments in business just as bad?

I mean we all know that the country is run by the big business, so when they invest in companies to strengthen them it empowers them and furthers political agendas am i wrong? In theory they dont vote, but they vote with thier money.

Do you think the Watchtower makes up experiences by people ???
by run dont walk inin the may 1, 1988 watchtower, on page 22, a witness, matsue ishii, recalls her first encounter with the bible students in 1928: at the back of our house in tojo-cho, osaka, there was a house with a sign: "osaka branch of the international bible students association.
" assuming it to be a christian group, i visited the house.
"do you believe in the second advent of the lord?

I honestly dont believe there is an ounce of truth to the experiences they write. I often wonder when they have a picture of the person who is it? Does anyone know anyone who has ever had thier picture or someone they knows picture used in a wt or awake? I was thinking, in the most recent awake, the story of the german couple whos lives were saved by the awake article on tsunamis. The names of the people are there. Why doesnt someone write the wts and say that they are long lost relatives and need thier address right away to contact them. They cant say they dont know who they are. Or even call bethel and ask to speak to the writer. LOL what would they do? Also in that article, it said the whole cong from 85 miles away rushed to the scene to look for the jw couple, and that was very christian-like. So how about all the thousands of other people whos lives were in jeapordy that day? Looking for themis not the christian thing to do?

I have been looking at this exact topic for a while. There is for sure a smugness about jws that they carry around with them. I first saw it when an elder came to my house to preach to me. When we could not come to terms on anything, I finally tried to end it and said if someone truly believes that what they practice is right, then they cant be wrong. The elder said no. He said we both cant be right. He said either I am right or you are right. Then he challenged me to what he called a race, to prove that he was wrong. This is particually annoying because after I began to research the jws, I put together a bunch of questions for him and he refused to answer. In any case the mindset of I am right and the rest of the world is wrong is a huge ego booster for people who have the type of ego that wants to be better than everyone else. Why do you think they want to shoot up the ranks to elder? You can see it in the faces of dubs when they are all together. They look like an elite social club, and they are literally thinking about how great they are compared to the rest of the world. I mean what is more selfish than thinking that you are gods only people, chosen personally by him, and the only ones he likes, and that you are the only ones who have a relationship with him? Sort of like when kids are unpopular, the invent an imaginary friend and tell thier friends about the imaginary friend just to appear popular.
