does anyone know of a website that has tracts/leaflets about the jw's , that can be printed off.. that can be used to distribute locally to warn people about their teachings.

i seem to recall seeiing one but can't remember it.

I pass out the 'cease & desist' letter along with the tri-fold you can print off from Silentlambs, also included is a pamphlet from Macgregor Ministries about what the jw's actually teach. They have a few different ones you can order. And inside of that goes a sticker that says 'Please no visits by Jehovahs Witnesses'. There is a website that offers postcards, very colorful and short to the point messages for jw's. However, I can't remember where. To date I have 'placed' my own anti-witnessing literature in 200 paperboxes. Will get back to it shortly. It really doesn't take much time. I used to do it on foot, but a quick half hour in the car can easily do at least 50-75 homes. Of course the sh** will hit the fan when it becomes known that I am doing that. Too bad. He is the one who suggested I start an anti-cult ministry. Can I help it if he doesn't remember? Besides what is different about what I am doing and what jw's do? We both believe in the message we are trying to spread. carla

Cave men?

i'd love to know how jws explain the discovery of 6000+ year old remnants of cavemen?

i mean, they can explain dinosaurs, but what to they say about the prehistoric men?

i'd ask my jw father, but i want to be prepared first....

The timeline is another question- if God created men and they were obviously intelligent and had a society of sorts, where do cavemen fit in? The first people had a history, Cain was worried others would kill him, etc... Yet there are cave drawings, fossils, and so on that would indicate some loss of intelligence from the first human beings? Or simply 'another tribe' that wasn't as advanced as other human beings? Just how do cavedwellers fit in?

Watchtower relief effort...

i googled some different religion home pages this morning to see how some religions/churches were responding to the disaster on the gulf coast.. all the ones that i checked, catholic, baptist, lutheran, presbyterian all made mention of the disaster and had already started some relief efforts.

the cathoic church has its own relief website, catholicrelief.org where various relief efforts around the world are listed.

(one interesting one is that the catholic church is teaming with the mormons to bring food to niger) .

Well, now could be the perfect time for jw's to actually prove they do ANYTHING to help others. Because it is here in the states everything can be verified or not as the case may be. My husband keeps on saying how they 'give tons' of food, etc.. to the starving and poor. Yet when I ask for one shred of evidence he cannot produce any. There is always a paper trail that can be checked. After looking for over two years now, I can't find any. Maybe I'm not checking the right places but at least there should be something! Even personal testimonies. We'll see how they handle this one. carla

Maybe someone should produce an apostate calendar. Pictures could include Russell's grave, some of the offensive political cartoons from the early wt's, and in each day could be a little blurb of 'new light' changes or some of the more ridiculous old beliefs, aluminum from satan, steam engine prophecy, medical quackery, false prophecies, etc.... Now I would buy one of those! carla

according to christs words at the last supper, his followers were to "keep doing this in remembrance of me" but st paul says that by taking the emblems we are declaring the death of our lord "until he arrives".. the greatest man book (i've been looking at it) says the "arrival of the son of man, jesus christ, with the angels must be invisible to human eyes.

the arrival occurs in the year 1914.

if the gb really believe this why are they still doing the memorial road show?.
