I found this and am in total agreement. Feel free to answer the Questions.
by jw inregardless of how you feel about jehovah's organization--the true religion, one thing for sure, you will not escape the almighty jehovah's judgement right along with satan the devil and his destructive organization.
how will you save yourself and those who follow you...?
it's ashame that your energies could not be put to a more positive use.

What is the most stupid thing you ever did?!!!
by Spectrum inbtw: excluding joining jwism unless it's too intriguing not to say.
here's mine: .
it was in the day when the paraffin man went around selling to those that still had the old paraffin burners to keep their house warm.

Getting involved in jw's posts... Wait that was the stupidest thing I've done today.
When I was aboutnineor so I followed a friend climbing around on a cliff in Nevada. I went and got myself stuck (couldn't go forward, couldn'tgo back)and had to be rescued by guys in harnesses and stuff. -

Okay, so you are a cut and paste troll, not the original author. You say you are in total agreement so it may as well be your words. I stand by my response to this post and again pose my question, "How are you so different?"

jw, a thread for you and I...
by AuldSoul injw,.
i realize it is impossible to expect that no one will post to this thread, and most threads don't survive more than a page or two before becoming sidetracked, but perhaps you and i can discuss whatever is on your mind in an "intelligent" manner in this thread.
maybe we could begin by requesting that this area be fairly undisturbed and at least that any additional posts to this thread outside of our discussion be of a statement nature and not distracting from the point by asking side-questions or hurling ad hominem.. first though, i would like some sense of what you consider to be an intelligent way to discuss issues.. can we agree to try and avoid logical fallacies and argue only points we each feel competent to address independently?

AuldSoul,
Your mistake in the post gave jw a tiny victory. Let jw savor it while (s)he can.

Regardless of how you feel about Jehovah's organization--the true religion, one thing for sure, you will not escape the Almighty Jehovah's judgement right along with Satan the devil and his destructive organization. How will you save yourself and those who follow you...? It's ashame that your energies could not be put to a more positive use. ...saving lives! Are you doing that now? ....Are you offering others hope?....direction? unity? Peace? Security? a futrue?
The bible speaks about individuals like yourself--who would speak against God's people, but You cannot mock Jehovah, whatever you are sowing you will reap....if you don't believe in Jehovah...who do you pray to now? He only listens to those that are busy doing his will, not those that are looking to glorify themselves....you really are following in your fathers' footsteps--Satan, the devil. Your articles have a lot of material, however, you fail to have scriptural backup.....how true can it be....when not one scripture is sighted!
Secondly I volunteer with more than one non-profit org and they bring both self-suffiency and happiness to people's lives. I feel those are more noble than holding out a vague promise that somebody's invisible friend is goingto fix everything at somepoint in the future.
I sense desperation in your post. It is the longest you have written that isn't simply cut and paste scripture. You aren't winning any converts so you lob out a feeble attempt to shame us by our unwillingness to view the DtD work as the one true calling along with the same old threats of reaping what we sow. You do not participate in the field work by your own admission,in fact you distance yourself from the WTS and disagree with their teachings because you have studied the scriptures on your own. Let me ask you, 'what are you doing that is so different from many of the apostates on this board?' -

What did people know about conception 2000 years ago?
by Hellrider inthis is taken from a "new" scroll, discovered in the middle east in the 70s.
it is believed to be a dead sea scroll, or a scroll connected to the essenes.
it`s believed to be from the 1st century, and is referred to as "the angel scroll".

They knew a lot more back in ancient times than humans know today.
They knew; madness is caused by demons, the earth is the center of the universe, women weren't made to enjoy sex, slaughtering animals or humans would bring the blessings of whatever god for whatever purpose,
Check out chinese herbal medicines.
While there are numerous benefits to herbs in a healthy lifestyle, much of it is quackery, powered rhino horn or tiger penis, anyone?
With the biblical imparitive to fill up the earth, I doubt there was little need for contraception. -

Then that is where I will have to agree to disagree.
The WTS is not in the wrong they just have some in the Organization that have gone wrong.
Just a few bad apples that is all.
Nothing that can not be made right.
Then here's a suggestion;
Go pester the WTS on how you can fix them and leave us alone because we are doing just fine without you. -

do not read anymore of this persons topics
by DavidChristopher indavid christopher is a bi polar mental case and anything he posts on here is nothing but a lot of bull.
he has no clue what he is talking about and thinks he is going to save the world by talking to people on the internet.
he claims that god and jesus tell him what to do but also thinks he is satan.

The Point of this Site?
by Samael inforgive me if i sound rude or this question has been answered elsewhere, as i am a neophyte and discovered your site through google in my religious studies.
from reading the various posts it seems that this site serves nothing more than an iconoclastic purpose.
was your experience as jw's so traumatic that now you can but put forth such effort to daemonize the religion?

Katie,
I agree with you about the shorthand... If gets so frustrating to try and explain to non-dubbified people. Plus I gain a sense of comraderie through the shared experience.
And there are cute women on the board, like you.
