i am a disfellowshipped j.w.

single mom that needs a ride cause i have to walk with a stroller with my 4 yr. old toddler to the oakland congreations on oakland st. this is a very dangerous area of the city and because its blocks away from frankford ave. and lights and stores we could be attacked.

Why aren't the elders in your hall HELPING YOU??
They should be the ones, IF THEY CARED ABOUT YOUR SAFETY AND WELFARE, who should be picking you up and taking you home.

Exactly what Eclipse said - if they can see you willing, why aren't they helping you? My advice - stick around here...and welcome

Fantastic opportunities for advanced education on line

lsu, california state,, eastern and western illinois among others offer fantastic classes.

harvard even offers a doctorate degree on line, although you will have to attend for a short time on campus.

several members of my family are finishing up degrees or advancing them through clep tests or on line classes through these sites, with testing done at local colleges or homework sent through the mail at minimal cost compared even to your local jr. college.

How to get the News out to Witnesses About their Child Molestation Coverup?

hello all.i just want to welcome any suggestions you might have to keep getting the molestation coverup and settlements in the forefront of the witnesses minds.

as you know i talked with an elder and his wife who came to my door for 30 minutes about it.

also mrs. flipper and i have left upwards of 200 news release fliers on witness cars parked at kingdom halls.

I think we ought to consider putting together a 'standard' flyer and target 'key' members (you know the ones) in every Congregation (via post/mail) - I reckon we could cover the Western World between us

Good Grief Jgnat - the back of that car's better/bigger than my kitchen - and with more appliances.

I'd just like a car where I can open windows...my electric ones aren't anymore (electric, that is). It's the New Rover Greenhouse hatchback.

hello all, just had an interesting conversation with a p.o.

elder and his wife who were leaving me a incognito invitation to the "follow the christ" convention.i declined the invitation, but told them i had an associated press article i'd like to leave with them about molestation settlements jw's made outside of court.

i asked if they were aware of this settlement.
