Did you ever have a "worldly" boyfiend or girlfriend at school?
by PaulJ in.
if you grew up as a dub, were you ever a bit rebellious and have a "worldly" boyfriend or girlfriend?

I went out with a couple of girls (well sort of, I never actually went anywhere!) and it was difficult because its not like you can do much for Valentines day or their birthday. At 15 tho I started 'secretly' going out with a girl in the congregation.

Predictions for the Ashes
by PopeOfEruke inok - it's england leading 2-1 in the ashes series.
with one more match remaining.
england is having good luck with winning the tosses, which makes sense as tossers should be good at tossing.

Arachnaphobia - I hate spiders
by ballistic inanyone who does not the like killing any of god's creatures, please do not read this.. i just laid in bed for over an hour trying to sleep until i heard a faint noise which sounded like lots of feet scrabbling around.
for a minute i thought there were rats somewhere.
i laid there for a minute my eyes darting around in the dark and i could feel my pulse going.

My wife (Amy) is petrified of spiders. The problem we have is we live in an old cottage that seems to be filled with them! Every night we have to go round getting rid of them.
The other night the found one that was this big- I I
Now, I know thats not 'that' big compared to say Aussie spiders but even i wasnt happy with this one. Since then we've seen 3 more this size!

How do you interact on the board?
by Fe2O3Girl inhow do you use the board?
do you bother reading people's posts when you start a topic, and acknowledge their response?.
do you read all the posts on a thread when you post to see if someone has added more details, or already posted what you would have said?

I always follow the threads I start, and if a thread has particulary interested me I'll follow it. Thing is on this board, you go to sleep, wkae up and its completely changed!

Why is it cool to be "crazy"?
by ballistic inwhy is it cool to be "crazy"?.
as some of you know, i have been doing some internet dating some of which has been a good experience, some dissapointing.. having in the past been out with a few women who had a rather unstable nature to varying degrees, i've made apoint of ignoring users who call themselves "crazy", "a bit loopy", "nutter".
you would actually be suprised how common this is.. now this post is by no means intended to upset anyone on this board who has "issues", many here have and i have had in the past - and it''s not suprising seeing as what some of us have been through.. i'm just interested to know what is the significance of people describing themselves this way either in their name or in their profile.

'Crazy' is viewed as being a bit off-the-wall and unpredictable. This sounds like an exiting trait, as opposed to boring. I find that a lot of people call themselves 'mad' when they are not really.
