  i was sooooo happy to find this site the other day.

  i have been free and happy for a little over 6 years now.

  i too grew up jw, pioneered, blah,blah blah, until around the time i moved out.

  What a Public Holiday!

  yep, it's the october long weekend in new south wales - and the nsw mob are posting like crazy, eh jw83?

  it's early spring and it's a glorious day to be out and about - it's 34 degrees celsius and mrs ozzie and i are using our aircon for the first time this summer season.. our thoughts are with the bali victims but days like this show us life goes on.. what's your weather doing?

  we hear it's very windy and rain for you country woman, vivamus, abaddon and avengers?.

  i've heard alot about this book, but i've never read it.

  today we happened upon a yard sale and there it was!

  so i grabbed it.. i can't put the thing down.

  His last book "Island" was written to give hope to humanity even though the ending is a (again) disturbing.

  Well worth a read. Kinda mixture between eastern philosophy and western science....

  Do Must Dubs Have Pre-Marital Sex?

  it's not often talked about but in my experience a lot of witnesses have sex (or something like it) during their courtship.

  and most of them never go to the elders about it.

  recent case in point: my dear friend got married this past summer.

  what experiences do you have following, or not following it?.

  every now and then, someone posts something that exposes their gut reaction to something, which could be completely opposite to a position previously taken, or taken immediately after posting it.

  The gut feeling for me is literal. I get a twinge in the belly when I meet someone and they are no good for me.

  As soon as I try to rationalise the situation, it is gone. This has only started since leaving jws. It is never wrong....

  Sometimes I have over ridden it to my detriment.
