That's not such a bad one... use it against them... for example, "The Bible says, at Jeremiah 25:12, that Babylon would be called to account after the 70 years were fulfilled". They're sure to race for a bible in shocked disbelief, that is if they even understand how their 1914 doctrine works.
by that, i mean you do not want to have children.. i have been told since birth it would not be safe for me to have children, so i never even considered it.
i never went through a grieving period because the concept of having babies was not something i once had and lost.

The implication is that you are being cheap with regard to coffee and iced tea, but have expensive tastes in other areas, but maybe it's just that you prefer black coffee to white coffee??? I see no contradiction.

Both behaviours are often a response to not wanting to emotionally hurt or be hurt by people. There is no contradiction.
Plus you have a hard time letting people be nice back to you.
This suggests humility, but can be related to fragile emotionality.
These types of supposed personality contradictions are just different sides of the same coin.

hello all, i've been reading your site for a couple of years now, and have found, for the most part, it to be very helpful.
i must say, at first i was very "scared" at what i might find, but contrary to what i grew up learning, there is a "wealth" of information outside of the watchtower organization.
i haven't attended meetings for about two years now, and like many i've read about, have spent many hours researching, telling myself "i'm not wrong for searching", and doing more research.
there are no seventy years that refer to serving of Babylon for seventy years
Jeremiah chapter 25:
all the families of the north,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even [sending] to Neb·u·chad·rez´zar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will bring them against this land and against its inhabitants and against all these nations round about; and I will devote them to destruction and make them an object of astonishment and something to whistle at and places devastated to time indefinite. 10 And I will destroy out of them the sound of exultation and the sound of rejoicing, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the hand mill and the light of the lamp. 11 And all this land must become a devastated place, an object of astonishment, and these nations will have to serve the king of Babylon seventy years.”’
