You really do not have to target a religion per se. Just focus on the foundations of Christianity, and ESPECIALLY the Bible - Church fathers, Eusebius, etal. and focus on the fact that they use a book that was compiled by the evil slave some 1700 year ago...

by Broken Promises inthe background: a female jw who introduced herself as lisa came to my door a couple of weeks ago with a memorial invitation.
i acknowledged that i knew what it was about, and had asked her why they dont accept the wine and bread.
we had a discussion about that, with me stating that the bible only gives a heavenly hope, not an earthly one.

A local elder has recently been removed after speaking to his Dfd sister at their mothers funeral, therefore the elder doing the talk is worried about his own position as he is also saying a prayer at the cremetorium.
Sounds like a JW problem, not yours. I would be respectful, but I would probably say something as well!!! Do not let that be one of the things you regret later on in life!!! My grandfather was df'd and we did not talk to him for 8 years. I missed out as a youngster, and the cult destroyed a family. I saw him when he lied cold on the bed. I will never forgive the JW's for this, and not a day goes by (where if I knew then what I know now) where I don't regret and feel ashamed of what my family and I did... speak your mind, praise and honor your sister, and live your life! Don't let the JW's take away what little you have... condolences...

We had to go to my parents house that night, my mother is still in as an uber-JW, and my sig other stood outside in the dark talking through the screen door to my mom. Hahahaha, my mom kept asking her to come in and talk, but my woman said she was fine outside, liked the weather, nice evening, etc. At some point in time I think she will have to face up... next... tattoo... ;)

by headisspinning inon saturday, my ex husband went on the platform at the one day circuit assembly and slandered me in front of 800+ people.. my jw family is even up in arms because he basically lied and ruined any last bits of my reputation that i had left, the worst part is this was elder sanctioned.. i am really exhausted from all the upheaval so i will get right to the point.

Both... but neither, for the serial killer finishes the good doctor (part of the 11) and is himself put to death after being caught (capital punishment). Serial killers usually target the scum of society, or those indulging in immoral or unethical/illegal behavior, therefore the doctor was involved in unethical/illegal behavior. He serves a higher purpose, ie vigilante.
The research scientist, though he makes a break through, benefits no one but the ultra wealthy as his patent is cubby holed and only for sale for those that have lots of money - it does not benefit the masses.
Another factor is the mode of transportation. The serial killer would definately be associated with this form of public transportation as he scouts out a victim, ie prostitute, etc. The doctor, however, is also engaged in something illegal or unethical as this mode of transportation is not likely given grants and or research money. The good doctor would more than likely own personal transportation of some kind and therefore would not be taking public transportation for commutes or city to city travel (would take a plane).

Memorial
by sspo ini live in a gated mobile home park in california where no one is allowed to solicit door to door and today.
i received a full page,handwritten invitation to the memorial, with the official tract printed by the watchtower.. it's a great way to get many hours of service just by staying in the comfort of your home but i'm wondering who's paying for postage, .
.44cents per household...that could get pretty expensive since just in our park alone there are close to 700 homes!!!.

4. get a job you love (can't find one...)
5. find the right person to go on the journey with you- (missed that boat when I got married to a dub)
6. live the summoned life instead of the planned life- that means that life isn't a project to be completed, it is an unknowable landscape to be explored. (interesting - trying to pursue that as of late)
