  Writing an Op-Ed Post for the New York Times

  i posted on another thread that the ap report in the nyt was disappinting.

  my thought is to write to the ombudsman or at least an editor.

  the article was a joke when held against standard nyt reporting.. so many issues are raised that are applicable to all religions and wider societal concerns.

  BOTR --- Great idea you have and I hope you go for it. How exciting and looks like Barbara Anderson is onboard with you --- awesome! I know it would be a lot of work but awareness to humans re/the Watchtowers' devastation on lives (and other cults) is desperately needed. So many intelligent/talented writers on this board you should be able to end any future very vanilla articles re/Watchtower.

  we feed info to authorities who chase you, we warn off potiential converts by directing them to the real truth.

  eight years ago before simon changed over to this site, i was known as blueblades.

  i mentioned back then 7/21/03 that i was diagnosed as having a narrow aortic valve.

  well, the time has come to update all my friends back then and now.

  Does anyone have a pedophile policy timeline?

  i was talking to a close relative about the case, and they brought up the fact that they thought the society had changed many of ther policies on molestation long ago.

  i am curious about the policy change that made it so molesters could not become elders anymore.

  i am sure there are many others that i am unaware of, but i think a timeline would actually show current jws how slow the organization was to act.. thanks in advance for any help..

  They've not changed anything in Vegas. I know of an elder who walked away because of a pedophile-elder situation in hall. He couldn't take it and it was the end for him. He should have contacted law enforcement but I'm sure didn't. They consider a pedophile just another salesman w/a hangup, bad habit and couldn't care less and the wheels making their fortune must carry on.

  The laws in this country (world) must change re/religion --- but won't. There needs to be a total outrage from citizens re their criminal acts.

  rick simons, candace conti's attorney, will be interviewed on the six screens of the watchtower conference phone line this evening.

  there's a good chance that candace will join in, but that's not set in stone.

  the host of the program, rick, told me to tell everybody that he is learning how to calm down and to do better on these conference calls.

  i think the organization will harp on the idea that the news media is a product of satan the devil and should never be trusted especially if the news is in any way negative of jehovah's witnesses.. with all the negative (truthful) press that will come out over this latest mult-million dollar judgment against the watchtower society, i think they will "demonize" the press more than they ever have.. what do you think?

  I hope someone shares w/the media the watchtower's damage control methods. Some prolific writer onboard here should contact one of those respected psychiatrists that Fox News used to have on explaining situations to the audiences --- Dr. Ablow (?) or something. Can't think of the other guy's name. Haven't watched Fox in so long. Children's safety might get their attention.

  Bloggers got thru to individuals re/Scientology --- or did they.

  there are english speaking denominations that actively use the emphatic diaglott.

  the wtb&ts is the only publisher providing new printings of this nt interlinear.

  the r&f jehovah's witness doesn't use the diaglott (not even the jw version of it "kingdom interlinear translation" that supplanted it).
