  Does God speak to you? HOW?

  an answer to this question is subjective to the individual an a posteriori experiene.

  however, can there be an a priori experence, one that is objective, outside the bounds of personel experiene, or does it remain subjective?

  god speaks to me, through many venus, except audible.

  AGuest --- witnesses make their prayers through Christ, right, so i'm assuming they're addressing the matter correctly just not giving him proper

  I had an experience (nothing like yours) one early a.m. when i couldn't sleep and was praying to Jehovah (i'm still confused as to Jesus, God, being one --- trinity, etc., proper salutation and now pray using the name or title, 'Our Father') and experienced the strongest presence of Christ (or as i envision/portray him) and i didn't ask for this or to feel his presence but for answers and was asking for comfort and help in situation from God. this was totally unexpected and immensely shocking because i was praying to God, using the name, Jehovah, with no thought of my prayer being directed to Christ, but only praying through him. it was certainly unusual to me, and i think about often. it was like he was there --- and so real. in my head/heart it was telling me to let Christ be the important factor in my life and not all the other crazy situations, or as the w/tower is always expounding on Jehovah and not Christ.

  i am sick and tired of people putting down posters like the andersons!

  they work hard to expose some things we might never have known about.

  why some find fault with them, or ray franz before them, or maximus when he was here is beyond me.. be thankful for those that decide to come here and share what they know about this organization.. we get elders who are still in their positions and they share with us a lot of interesting news and perspectives.

  metatron --- forgot on my prev. post re/great moment leaving w/tower (whatever) on H20 you were my FAV poster and loved reading your watchtower prognostications --- best GOOD news i'd heard in years.

  outlaw --- love the tower's new name. my first laugh of the day/thanks. wish you guys could do billboards all over the country w/your reality terms --- love terry's tower-riff.

  i have found some powerful reinforcements when people have stated their " epiphany moment "... please share some.. my turning pointing began when i was badly hurt by a person i had always viewed as a literal brother.

  i realized that if his.

  love was conditional.... if it was the case with him , then how about those i had less affection for and trust in ?.

  the last comment someone made that "Jehovah reads the heart," it rang so loud and clear and why in the world was i making myself crazy and miserable trying to belong to this religion -- that moment i became the happiest person. i never went back, and within the year the great website, H20, was online, and genius posters like farkel, randy, A. F., and many others --- i was convinced beyond comprehension. the internet is truly a gift from God.

  i had been searching online for a couple of yrs. and could only find a chat room and it was nothing like H20 or this incredible site that simon provides --- what a gift to the world!

  First time ever - I attended my first Catholic Mass tonight...

  it was very interesting.... of course, the first thing i noticed was the building.

  very different from a "kingdom hall" - this catholic church is in an extremely modern, six-sided building.

  as one enters the building, their "holy water" font - fountain(???

  if god has instructions for sincere people why can't he just tell us what they are in plain language?.

  he could do that and some people would fall in line and others wouldn't.. if i was god, that's what i would do.. as a parent, that's what i do with my kids.. i am so tired of all the guesswork..

  tec: THANK YOU SO MUCH. WOW --- i keep thinking i'm failing miserably at loving my enemies like Jesus commands us to do when i don't choose to go around them unless i absolutely have to. i keep thinking i should be able to handle the situation and ignore and just love love love them --- and i really make an effort to do this when i have to show up because of others in equasion but saying no when at all possible. i read some posts and think with enough love --- this shouldn't be a problem but your answer balances me out.

  tec: let me see if i get this. btw, always love your posts and they seem so helpful. so, if we're showing forgiveness and mercy to those who wrong us, does this mean one has to go out of their way to be around said, hurtful, toxic, person (like attending extra social events, birthday parties, etc.) or can one just be kind and loving-like when one has to be around them. the boundary thing --- if one has them and you draw the line in the sand for how much time you can go around them/put up with them --- yet you're forgiving and trying desperately to "love" them --- is this good enough. the love and the boundary thing really baffles me because it limits one's association w/someone who is hurtful/manipulative (i think the boundaries are a real protection) yet, technically, we should overlook anything and just not think about it and go around them KNOWING THEY WANT EVERYONE AT THEIR PARTY because we are, THUSLY, doing unto others (making them happy) as we would have them do unto us. OH, MY! hope this makes sense because i'm confusing myself.

  appreciate any/all comments. and they say it's tough to set boundaries --- well, this "love" is not the easiest w/some people.
