when he tried to be nice and bought her flowers for her b-day she yelled at him and threw them in the garbage.. so... i won't be calling her just to get yelled at.. funny thing is though that when i was a jw she would call me on my birthday (and that of the girls) to wish us happy birthday.

I just thought they were right and I was wrong. I did not agree with them on somethings, but I thought that I did not fully understand.

That's what the leaders of the Watch Tower Society want you to think. "Do as we say, we know better, we do the thinking for you, just follow our orders, just obey without questions..."

Then I do fear, what if they are right, did I doom my chilren to death?

Again, the leadership wants you to think exactly that. Independent thinking is frowned upon as you well know. Armageddon is not coming, they've been predicting the end for over 120 years, and it's always around the corner. The JW religion is a religion built on fear. Do as we say or die !

We're all gonna die. I may die in a car crash this afternoon. I may get cancer and die next month. I may have a heart attack and die suddenly tomorro morning. Or I'll live to be 89 years old and die in my sleep.

Momofmany, I hope you'll wake up and do the right thing for you and your children. The JW are family wreckers. There are countless threads on this board that talk about this.

Momofmany : What I don't understand is that you seem to know that the JW brand of religion is wrong in so many ways, so why would you let a salesman from the Watch Tower indoctrinate your own kids ?

I understand about wanting to teach them about God and Jesus and all the good things religion can bring into one's life. But why would you ask a JW to teach them these things ?

Go with them to an independent christian church and let them participate in the Bible study that takes place at the end of the Sunday service, or ask them to read a chapter of the New Testament every week, and talk with them about what they have learned....

God, woman, get them out of there before it's too late !

this was my project for last year, and it took much of the year to learn and play it, but it is "halloween appropriate.

" it is the danse macabre and was orginally written for orchestra only.

franz liszt did the piano reduction, and it is nearly impossible to play.

Momofmany : I agree with you, this kind of discussion with your kids by a "stranger" is entirely inappropriate. What does that have to do with religion, God and Jesus ?

Why do you let your kids study with the JWs ? that's what I'd like to know.
