Many of middle eastern girls are hot. But it's just a religion (or tradition in many cases) it's not equivalent to being a terrorist, mind you many girls in west would probably love to use that as an argument lol. Its sad but religious affiliation or traditional background has always influenced people as to who to date or have any dealings with and who not. So much so that anything bad in the end becomes self-fulfilling prophecy. I wonder how many Irish chicks dated British bolkes in Northern Ireland even 20 years ago.

I actually have a lot of respect for his wife. The other thing is, why is it that a bit of skin and raised boobs make people think "it gotta be true" what's so special about those, don't you see that everywhere you go? Boobs are not equivalent for truth, well unless you don't see any then its like seeing heavens opened up to you I guess. But seriously, just because someone claims something means nothing. Does it even occure to anyone that perhaps she just wants attention and recognition. And by the way would it be more likely that she was dating both George Clooney and Tiger Woods at the same time (maybe George is shotting a new movie about a golf star where tiger happens to be a consultant lol) , or that we have a case of infatuated, deranged young woman who wants attention.

Absolutely, such people are very prone to misdirection of those who either through knowledge of human mind or by accident use methods designed to take advantage of mind-laziness. Clever acting, emotionally charged language, skillful use of stereotypes and biases can go a long way with such people.

Stick to your guns, don't apologize for it, doesn't mean you need to be doing it into her face but hiding around is not good for your sanity either. I wonder what would happen if you demanded that she stops telling you about JW meetings or her going to the meetings... Its a free country and people have right to decide their own destiny without anyone telling them what to do.
I've been through it so I can say give her space, time and a chance as not everyone goes through it at the same pace but if marriage becomes dependent on you not coming here or anywhere else for that matter .... well only you can then decide what you'll do. -

When married woman goes out it is mostly for one reason alone, to break monotony of her mundane everyday life and for a moment replace it with a fantasy. I doubt she is out consciously for a "relationship" but a bit of a spice, adventure, adrenaline rush or whatever gives her a kick, anything but the "r" word. I'd say don't freak her out by any such kind of a talk, just go for a ride singing this all the way to the bedroom.

Since you are already in it enjoy yourself and she will enjoy it too. However, be careful yourself not to get emotionally attached. Hopefully she is a stable person too, but if you see she's got some sort of emotional turmoil going on I personally wouldn't go into it other than as a friend. After all you don't want to be dealing with jealousy of mister hubby. That would be a short 'non-prudish' answer. Mind you, I personally wouldn't go for it just because she's hot, there are so many single girls around that you really don't need to entangle yourself into a mess for no reason.

the wt leaders forbids or at least strongly discourages higher education, main reason being the risk of getting influenced by worldly thought and associations.
then how come the wt leaders permit jw's to have fulltime employment with worldly companies??

Thank you Pope, I think there is a lot of nice people here and they deserve a chance of a better life, a chance that was taken away from them that they've somehow never managed to recapture. I wish I had a way to make them see that everything is not lost, and if belief was ever any good it was now time to apply it and believe in themselves.
Unfortunatelly, even when you apply unconventional methods to literally shake them out of their shell too many are too paralized by the past that shaped them and may well spend rest of their days licking their wounds. Sad part is, if they allow that then wtbs victory over them is complete. It is never too late to start life over. Heck Nelson Mandela was released out of prison when he was 72. That was back in 1990. After that even managed to be a president of a nation and receive a Nobel Award, how's that for life's achievement? So if it is education one needs I'd say go for it, regardless of your age. I often get news about the oldest person completing university, so far that was at 78 that I'm aware of at one of local universities.
But it goes even beyond education alone. I guess what people need start doing is devoting right now at least an hour a day to something they love doing the most, something they thought they would do in that "new world" or when things got better. Spend time on things that will rebuild them from inside out. After all what we are talking about here is enriching of one's soul, which will then reflect itself in enriched life. After all that is what makes it worth living, it is not only about reproduction and feeding kids. One day those kids will love to proudly say to their own kids, "my dad/mom was into such and such" So if you always wanted to paint, do it, if writing do it, if refurbishing that old 1920's rolls royce, heck start collecting parts. Mankind is made of individuals and the future of the individual I'm excited about is my daughter who just got accepted into art school for gifted children. Next in line would be my own future but I'll leave that for some other time. And then I'm always there for my circle of real friend and in our small circle I see lots of success and bright future. That is as far as I can go, and I guess if every single of us shared the same little success story the world would be a nice place to live in.
