Thanx Lawrence, to me it is not so much as a prayer but a confirmation that god is truly one and not three in one

Is WTBS now encouraging witnesses to go into business?
by zagor injust wondering if youve noticed the same thing.
last few assemblies ive ever visited ive noticed frequently one phrase brother so and so, an elder, etc, and also running his own business ive heard this time and time again when theyd introduce someone to preset their experience and if im not wrong even once or twice when theyve introduced a new speaker.. .
ive also heard from others who have noticed the same lately though most of them are interpreting it along the lines well, it is just a good example of how it is possible to be a self-employed witness and not be part of this corrupt business world.

Good God.
Though I'm not surprised, they've already had similar cock-ups before. I've wondered many times if their writing department is even researching their own literature to ensure that there are no discrepancies, like in the case whether Sodomites are going to be resurrected, so you have over the years - YES, NO, YES, NO, NO, YES, NO, YES, YES, NO, YES, NO. Hard to keep up with the CURRENT TRUTH (whatever that is)

evolutionary future of governments
by frankiespeakin in.
will man evolve and rid themselves of controlling governments?
i say yes if we make it.

Any kind of control by a leader or group of leaders may be in the near future but they would have to have a very very limited control much more limited than present. But if we survive long enough as a species even they will be a archaic thing of the past.
Agree, perhaps future leaders should be more Jesus-like i.e. to lead by an example with tacit kind of influence and pervasion rather than force and intimidation. (and I mean real Jesus the man, not religion in general, or someone like Ghandi)

The GB of the JWs guilty or naive and ignorant ?
by greendawn insome people believe that the gb of the jws are a bunch of well meaning but naive and ignorant individuals who do not really mean to cause the harm they do cause in the r & f and they may not even be aware of it.
i personally disagree with that and believe that everything they do is based on shrewd cold blooded calculations that are meant to promote their interests, that they sold their souls to the devil as it were in exchange of a huge intoxicating power trip.
they are fully aware of the harm they cause but their conscience is singed beyond all sensitivity.

See how they treat the annointed how can there not be any good ones in those 8000 so that they had to choose non annointed to replace them.
Actually as far as I can remember that number was always around 8000 or at least for the last 30-odd years. At times even increasing.

It is hard to say. But if history is anything to go by you can see that governmental grip is getting weaker and weaker i.e. from strong monarchies to democracy. What will be in next 1000 one can only guess. Perhaps we will evolve to the point where no don’t need government any more. Or perhaps not. The thing is if there is no, at least some kind of leadership, you don’t have unity. So maybe democracy is the ultimate government there will ever be.
