I wonder how this will affect those of us who were born into the organization and faded away but never baptised? Does anyone know of individuals who were never baptised but were df'ed?

the society's new book 'organized to do jehovah's will', to be released in the congregations .
on the 20th of march, introduces a change in the df and da announcements.
announcements will read the same: "[name of person] is no longer one of jehovah's .
I wonder how this will affect those of us who were born into the organization and faded away but never baptised? Does anyone know of individuals who were never baptised but were df'ed?

the article that bothered me the most was when they said if you work in a doctors office you must report to the elders if a brother or sister comes to the doctor with a (questionable) problem..
i read this comment by galaxy7 in an older post, never heard this before.
does anyone know which publication?.

yes, in 1988, jws were so happy to learn that carbon dating proved the shroud of turin was a fake from the middle ages ... yes, once again, jehovah's alleged organization was forward moving in its truth ... ahhhh ... but wait!
it turns out, that while the carbon dating was accurate, it was not understood that the 1988 test inadvertantly used a repair patch from the 1300's.
so, yes, the carbon dating would show this date.
Jesus died at 33. Look at the image on the shroud. That ole' fart has to be at least 70.
it's on witness world.com .
lol!
one of the fine brothers quickly told them it was because of the (gasp!
Here is the response from a witness who read the UN response letter about the WTS as an NGO. Thinks apostates are planted at the UN and making this up. Unbelievable.
Now I'm really freaking out! I hadn't heard this lie before because I don't listen to apostates. My brother-in-law showed me how to view pdf files and I read this one. It can't be true. It says the Society joined the UN! How could anyone believe that?!! There must be apostates at the UN. Does the Society know about this? Why don't they get the letter removed?
This shows how close the end is, when the "beast" is persecuting Jehovah's people with lies like this. The apostates are trying to destroy our reputation by saying we compromised our neutrality with the "disgusting thing".
hi gang:.
just a reminder that there will be a television show tomorrow night at 7 pm central time (usa) on the eternal word television network about the jws.. i will be giving my story of how i was raised as a jehovah's witness, served time at bethel, was a pioneer etc.
i am a catholic now.. in any case, the show is live.
Overbeer, there's a live feed on their site. Just click on "multimedia" and drop down two boxes.

i have attached a letter that i am thinking of giving to my wife who is a witness, she wasn't going to the meetings for 8 months and showed interest in exploring other avenues of spirituallity (christian).
without getting into too much detail she was disfellowshiped for seeing me.
she was told by the elders that she had no grounds for devorce at the time and that she had to go back to her abusive husband.
For some reason my intuition tells me that if she stays with you that these visits to the KH will not last.
Good Luck!!

Jeff, I'm curious as to how you made the jump from JWism to Catholicism. They are about as far apart doctrinally as any two Christian based religions could be. Do you hold on to any bits and pieces of WT doctrine as many ex-JW's do? Do you accept all of the Catholic doctrine including the catechism? I would have thought that even an ex-JW would have difficullty accepting teachings like celibacy, immaculate conception and papal infallability.

........................expressed the desire to meet for coffee or lunch, seeing as though we work so close to eachother.. i must say it was quite a surprise.
this sister is older and been a dub for much longer than i ever was.
she wasn't one of my close friends either, so the email had me curious while also pleasantly surprised.. i replied and we met yesterday for lunch.. she embraced me and we hugged.
What I think will happen is that she'll go and spill her guts out to the elders
If by chance this happens it's only her statement; no other witness. The "two witness" rule should apply.

Mama's Bible
-------------------------
Four brothers left home for college, and they became successful doctors
and lawyers and prospered.
Some years later, they chatted after having dinner together. They
discussed the gifts they were able to give their elderly mother who lived far
away in another city.
The first said, "I had a big house built for Mama."
The second said, " I had a hundred thousand dollar theater built in the
house."
The third said, "I had my Mercedes dealer deliver an SL600 to her."
The fourth said, "You know how Mamma loved reading the Bible and you
know she can't read anymore because she can't see very well. I met this
preacher who told me about a parrot that can recite the entire bible. It took
twenty preachers 12 years to teach him. I had to pledge to contribute $100,000
a year for twenty years to the church, but it was worth it. Mamma just
has to name the chapter and verse and the parrot will recite it."
The other brothers were impressed.
After the holidays Mom sent out her Thank You notes. She wrote:
"Milton, the house you built is so huge. I live in only one room, but I
have to clean the whole house. Thanks anyway."
"Marvin, I am too old to travel. I stay home, I have my groceries
delivered, so I never use the Mercedes. The thought was good. Thanks."
"Michael, you gave me and expensive theater with Dolby sound, it could
hold 50 people, but all of my friends are dead, I've lost my hearing and I'm
nearly blind. I'll never use it. Thank you for the gesture just the same."
"Dearest Melvin, you were the only son to have the good sense to give a
little thought to your gift. The chicken was delicious. Thank you."
at some point everyone asks these questions?
what is the meaning of life?
why has god let terrible things happen?
What If:
You could not die
You couldn't be hurt
Everything was free (provided)
You could have everyything you wanted
You could know anything
You could do anything (no consequences)
There were no limits
All this were true of everyone else
No danger. No searching. No challenges. No improving. No goals. No meaning.
Sounds like an empty, boring, useless existance to me, yet many think this is how a 'loving Creator" either would or should have made us.
