The Mayan calender shows Sept. 29, 2012 as the end of the world. Also the planet Nibiru is supposed to complete its 3600 year orbit in late 2012, causing titanic geological calamity to earth as it passes.. There is a large asteroid that will come perolously close to earth in late 2012. An asteroid impact is predicted in the book of Revelations. 2012 is expressed in nearly all religions as an extremely significant date.

Contact the ACLU. They love cases like this and their services are free. With all of the church - state litigation that they are handling now, another chance to pounce on religion would fit right in to their agenda. You, on the other hand will have an almost unlimited supply of high powered attorneys on your side.

The proceedure performed in the Jewish communities also involved certain rituals. For example the Rabbi performing the circumcision would use his teeth to pull the foreskin forward to make the cut. Saliva from the Rabbis mouth is then applied to the wound.
Circumcision is still performed in this manner in many Jewish communities, even here in the states. There was recently a move by the Department of Health and Human Services to ban the practice in the US and was meeting with quite a bit of resistance from the Jewish community.

i am planning to address the problem of misquotations with some jws.
i have told them before about the creation book and they said that apostates had been in the org in the past.
anyways i am looking for some more recent ones to show them and see what they have to say.
Based on the "apostates in the Org." statement one would think that any of the literature could be suspect. I can't imagine how I was ever involved with such a paranoid run-amuk bunch of people!

" (taken from the nwt).. now, jesus went up to heaven (in paradise) after the resurrection, right?.
so, the "evildoer" also went up to heaven in "paradise, with jesus, according to that scripture, and not paradise on earth, even if there is one, according to the watchtowers' teachings about an "earthly paradise".. so, since only 144,000 faithful and discreet slave class will be in heaven with jesus, does that make the "evildoer" that died next to jesus one of the "faithful and discreet"?
How could anyone be with Christ in paradise that day? Christ didn't ascend himself that day. it was several days later, no? Seems the WT comma placement explination makes sense.

What about individuals wanting to "marry" non-humans? This question isn't meant to stir up dissent. Fact is there are individuals who will raise this issue in the future and it will have to be addressed.

for me, it would be my daughter.

a married woman---but always still my little girl.
A majority mentioned their child/children. According to the mental health pro's, the death of a child is by far the most stressfull loss a person must endure, greater than even the spouse. I have just one child, my 32 year old son and just the thought of losing him is unbearable. We're all gonna die, but it should be our children burying us, not the other way around.
