I think my cat was born to a stray cat that was in our building and you are right I have had cats all my life and this is the first time I have had one that behaves this way.

okay i have a problem and it is called jacob my cat.
we found him a few months ago ( he was a stray and my mom brought him home) and the first day he was fine but over the last two months his behavior has gotten really bad.
he has developed the habit of biting (hard) and he also scrathes you for no reason.

He has developed the habit of biting (hard) and he also scrathes you for no reason. A few days ago I was sleeping when I suddenly woke up because he was bitting my face. He also has a tendency to try and sratch your face and legs and attacks for no reason.
I have another cat, Josephine and he attacks her at every chance. She is now living in my room because she will not go out to the other rooms where he may be. He has bites her on the side of her neck ( they are not playing) and now when she sees him she begins to growl, which is not normal for her ( she is very sweet).
I am at my witts end and am considering taking him to the pound. I would never do this if I felt like his behavior could get better, anyone have any suggestions?

doesn't take much to be an "auxiliary pioneer" these days!
i guess.. paragraph 3 says:.
she started out as an auxiliary pioneer, giving five hours a month to the program.. http://www.thesuntimes.com/articles/2005/09/16/business/bus01.txt.
Five hours a month? That is incorrect auxilary pioneers must put in fifty hours and regular pioneers have to put in seventy, I think it was a typo.

.
i remember starting a thread like this many years ago..... no, honetly, i can remember things that happend to me when i was about 3 years old.
i was on my tricycle and i got lost, so my mom phoned the cops and they found me.
I only remeber things that happened from age five and on.
why is it that each time my cat poops in her litter box she runs around the apartment full speed afterwards as if she pulled a trick on me?.
why is it that my cat wants me to put more food in her bowl even though is's half full?
and then once i do, she looks contented that the bowl is full, but doesn't eat any...
Why is my new cat evil? He bites (hard) scratches your face for no reason and is always picking a fight with Queen jojo ( my other cat). Any suggestions?

don't many of us deserve to die for the way we have treated others during our life?
isn't it ridiculous to wait on the government to do this?
Okay so I kicked that puppy and drowned the kitties, but I shouldn't have to die because of it.
lola
Yes.
how's this weekend treating you?.
it's hard, i know, to get too excited when so many in the southern usa are suffering so much, but time for reflecting on the truth about "the troof", so settle back with a nice refreshing drink and ponder awhile with us over this weekend's poll.. the question is ................................. .
if the elders announced we were to work in the kingdom hall with the salvation army on poor relief, i would......... 1. jump at the chance.. 2. send a "question from readers" to the watch tower.. 3. pinch myself to see if i was dreaming.. 4. complain to the circuit overseer about our 'apostate' elders.. 5. ask them who 'qualified' for the 'privilege'.
1. Jump at the chance. If they are allowing us to help people I'd do it.
3. Pinch myself to see if I was dreaming.
lola
.
they don't phone and don't come over.
but i'm sure that if i put a christmas decoration a few days before christmas, the holy spirit will lead them to my door.... i don't understand why some get pested so much, while others are completely ignored.
JH, you and I should hang out. The elders in my hall have never bothered to do a sheperding call. After all why should they worry about a regular pioneer that suddenly stopped going to meetings, got of the pioneer list and turns in no hours?
lola
i wish i had a way to record calls because i would do it myself.
i was thinking, what if a concerned jw called bethel with this predicament.....the dub wants to know if it is ok to accept donations from the salvation army.
the dub can say that they have always been told to donate to the world wide work, and discouraged from giving to other religous charities.
I did this last week. I talked with someone in the service dept. and told him I wanted to donate to the victims of Katrina, what where we doing to help those poor people?
He said that the brothers closer to the affected areas had already begun to organize relief efforts, then he asked me what state I was in and I said CA. He said I should make a donation to the world wide work, and I asked " Well how will the brothers know what I want my donation go to?"
He said the brothers at the local branch would determine where the money was most needed and then I asked " so all my money wont go to help the victims right?" again the answer was that the branch would determine how to use the funds.
Very innocently I asked " Well is it okay to donate to the redcross? Because if I donate to the redcross I know that my donation will all go to the victims". To which he said " you are right about that, there is information in the publications about donating but research is required."
To which I said " thank you" and then I hung up.
