Now that I'm done with school for the summer I've got some spare time to read as much as I like. Heaven!
I just finished "Sylvanus Now" by Donna Morrisey. Really good book, really good writer. Her others are "Kit's Law" and "Downhill Chance".
She's from Newfoundland and lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. All her books are set on the Rock and so vivid with the local dialects.
So what's on your list to read? Any recommendations?

I feel so left out! I've never watched this show. Studied way to hard this year and didn't have time for TV. Is it really that good?
Would it be worth while to rent previous seasons on DVD to catch up?

I haven't seen it yet but hope to this weekend. The drive-in is suppoed to get it this summer so maybe I'll wait a bit.
I'm a "the book is always better then the movie" girl so I have lowered expectations.

i have tried to find the answer thru the search engine, but could not find the answer so my question is does white light or red light after dark attract or repel mosquitoes?
