"You cannot be partaking of the 'table of Jehovah' and the table of demons." (1 Corinthians 10:21)
Perfect quote. Remember Defd, God is watching all of your actions and knows what sites you are visiting on the internet.
read the bible daily?
honestly do you?
or is it collecting dust on a table or shelf somewhere?

at this weekend's toledo convention a young woman was interviewed.
she had worked pt for a bank for years while finishing her acctg.
degree and pioneering.
I love working for satan. Full benefits with retirement!
i'm not going to answer this email from my dad.
he didn't listen the umpteen times i responded to his questions before - i'm not putting myself through that again.
i too thought about these things.
I've heard the "you must be under powerful influence to cut off your family".
That point can always be turned around. I say "i'm not cutting you off, I have no problem with what you're doing. You must be under powerful influence to cut off your child".
If you really want to stir some s*it just say you've taken one of those IQ tests from the scientologists and you are now finding a new path to improve your life. That will scare them.
Usually I play around with my mom and every few months I say I went to a new church, temple, synagogue etc... It drives her nuts.
i've been inactive for many years, but last march an elder came over to invite me to the memorial.
after that he came back and offered a bible study, which i didn't want but stupidly i accepted because i felt kind of pressured, thinking that if i didn't i would be maybe df'd for some reason.
so, i studied about half of the book with the elder, once a week, and went to a few meetings.
I left at 16. Moved out of my parents house too.
Never any calls from elders or anything. Still talk to my family although i'm a "known homosexual" and still not DF'd. It is strange. Once in a while my mom will get a little annoying and asking when i'm going to do something about the truth, but I just brush her off.
Actually, I did have some local JWs come to my door a year ago, but they were only looking for Spanish speakers. So they left before they even started their presentation. I think I've had more mormons knock on my door than JWs.
not sure if anyone has seen this:

it's really funny

the debate with my husband over my step-daughter's df has begun, just barely.
he used a phase about me being "a thinking, reasoning person" and he doesn't understand why i don't "see" bible principles.
i said that phrase is an insult to me, and then it went sour.
No ,what it is is so he can save his own ass when the end comes . He is thinking only of himself and his own mortality
I love it! This is soooo typical JW. They don't follow the good samaritan at all. If a DF'd person was lying dead on the side of the road they would turn around and run.
jw husband says that 18 is still a minor according to wt doctrine, so if he has to shun his daughter there are certain things he can still do.
is this true?
is there an age where if a child is df'd that certain "allowances" are made (like younger child or child living with you)?
I remember conventions when they had 10 year olds getting baptized. That was so sick. Everyone was saying: "You isn't so and so spiritual. blah blah blah blah". How can any elder think that it's ok for a 10 year old to get baptized when they claim it's the most important decision of their life?
I was baptized when I was 15. All of my friends in the cong. were getting baptized and there was so much pressure to get baptized. Elders asking "so and so just got baptized, when are you planning on making a decision to dedicate youself?" My mom would tell me how happy this person's parents looked, etc etc.
It's just BS how the WT thinks that anyone under 20 make a decision like that.
bp
I always laugh because most JWs still get fearful when they think this could be "it". Many of them have been so brainwashed with guilt and they still don't know if they'll make it to the paradise. Maybe Jehovah knows about the rated "R" movie they watched. Or that one month they only got 8 hours in the field in.
I always tell my mom to get a life. If god is really that concerned about one person, then obviously he's a micromanager and who would want to live with someone like that. You'd be better off dead.
your husband ,wife ,boyfriend or girlfriend, things that you know really annoy them so you keep doing it to see their reaction?.
heres mine ,and you can never tell ,shhhhh.
i will go ouside and cut a plant ,maybe trim it ,at first i really did forget to clean up my plant mess but oh oh , i got a reaction so now i leave them for him to see and watch him blow,,,,,,,,,,lol .
There's a woman here at my office that HATES when people cross their sevens. I never cross my sevens usually, but whenever there is paperwork going to her (even if it came from someone else) I take out my pens and cross away. :-D
i need phrases or catch cry's to mess with some jws i know.
i want them to know i'm on to them but not appear to obvious.
I totally agree with the women bringing about the demise statement.
I always plant seeds in my mom's head about the borg. "Does god think you're less of a person and can't be trusted to lead the congregation because you are a woman?" "Women run multi-national companies, but they're not trusted to give sermons?" My mom says she doesn't really care but being a strong independent woman, I know that the seeds will start to grow.
