  Why oh why would anyone want to read about the person that iniciated this CRAP? I'm sorry but it was all CRAP, the Miracle Wheat, the measuring of a mans face to figure out if he is smart, the teaching that black people would become white, the pyramid measurements......all a load of BS, but hey, if you want to believe that, knock yourself out!!!! I on the other hand have given up on believing nonsense invented by another human with just as many faults as anyone else.

  'the illuminati are believed to be the brains behind the events which supposedly lead to a new world order in which the world will be run by a single fascist government and a large postion of the human race will be eliminated.'.

  i found this quote in wikipedia, to be interesting down to the wtbts much quoted 'new world order.'.

  i don't think this phrase is used so much nowadays but i do remember it being bandied about a lot in the past.. other than that....they seem to share the same aspirations..

  I didn't know Bush Sr. used this phrase, if he did my following comment makes sense....a few months ago I was reading the books "Conversations with God" by Neal Donald Walsh, anyway, I found it quite interesting a little off, but still interesting, that is until I read book 2, and Mr. Walsh who I noticed throughout book 1 and 2 mentioned this New World Government as being the ideal, the red flag came up for me when I read the following supposedly from God.. "So the short-term solution to the world's foment may be a new social structure-a new, worldwide, government. There have been those leaders among you who have been insightful enough and brave enough to propose beginnings of such a new world order. Your George Bush (sr), whom history will judge to be a man of far greater wisdom, vision, compassion, and courage than contemporary society was willing or able to acknowledge, was such a leader", when I read this I couldn't believe it, I saw the whole picture at that moment how in the hell would God say that? What utter BS, I stopped reading after that and haven't picked it up since.

  The interesting thing is that this Neale Donald Walsh guy has a huge following, I heard he is making a movie about the "Conversations with God" series of books. He is part of a group of people that are writing books and trying to push this one world government thingy, I also think the Transcendental Meditation movement is part of the plan somehow. I wonder how deep this Rabbit Hole goes?

  i had a meeting with my heart surgeon yesterday, and after informing him of our faith, my wife still holding onto to parts of the organization, the dr. said that, "there is a new form that just came out last year from your mother church in new york.

  " what this document does is (1) make it clear that the person is not allowing blood to be used, (2) makes it clear that the dr. will have a court order ready in case blood is deemed medically necessary to sustain life and (3) absolves the person's conscience of any guilt if it came down to it.

  i'm not sure if this document has been discussed before, but i thought that it was a bit intriguing.

  I was abused physically, mentally, sexually by my MS stepfather, he also physically abused my brothers and sisters and mentally abused my mom, it was all kept quiet, you know so as not to tarnish Jehoovers name, another family member was abused and severely neglected when she was a tiny baby, it got so bad that another JW family member had to at the request of the totally incompetent JW mother take the baby into their home for a while, but the child's mother remained with this bastard on the advice from the elders and he later went on to become an elder. Even when this child grew up he still physically abused her at times punching her and throwing her against a wall while even though this abuse was going on. The abused girl is today really messed up mentally and till this day her mom has remained faithfully by that bastards side, truly amazing. Sooooooo............this religion is basically worse than the other's because they brainwash women to believe that leaving their abusive husbands would cause Jehoover to dissaprove of them. I hope I live to see the day this DAMN PUBLISHING COMPANY is disbanded, we will hold a giant celebration and raise our voices to announce "SHE HAS FALLEN, WTS THE GREAT HAS FALLEN"!!!!!!

  I've come to the conclusion that these men suffered from dementia, the sad thing is that so many people followed them, well then look at how many people followed Hitler, Jim Jones, David Koresh and a host of other opportunistic bastards that just leach off the brethren. The need for certainty and direction in humans is so great, that any person that comes to them with a pretty story and says they are teaching the true gospel from the Bible can convince them and they will happily follow them and give them their money. I wonder how different the world would have been if that old storybook had never been created.

  Could anyone tell me how exactly Jehovah chose the WT society in 1919?

  this teaching is so unique and singular to the jws and fascinates me greatly but i have yet to get any jw answer how this choosing actually happened and instead i'm left with the same feeling of confusion that i get when i ask how someone would know they were anointed.

  how did this process of selecting a correct church occur, how did they know it would happen in 1919 if they weren't pre-selected already, how did they know it was going to happen (bit rough on all the other churches who clearly didn't get a chance to spruce themselves up for 1919) and once the votes were cast and jehovah made up his mind how did he inform the contestants of the results?

  do the jws claim any kind of divine affirmation of their selection at all?

  It was done in secret, late one night after Rutherford finished his second bottle of bootleg whiskey he had a revelation....Jesus appeared to him and told him that because of all the wonderfull things he and his group were doing ie illegaly stealing Russell's company and booting all the dissenters, being a model of Christian behaviour as far as kindness and clean speach go, among all the other nonsense....because of these things Jesus Christ approved them and named them above all his belongings....just kidding, but like you I would love to know!

  Why o why, if Jesus named them in 1919 have there been around 42 changes in their beliefs since then? Sooooo......did Jesus's approval mean nothing to these people? if he approved them as they were, then by changing what they were approved for. they are now disapproved sorry, you can't have it both ways....oh, I forgot we are talking about the WTS and their circular reasoning and insanity.
