by wobble init seems to me that most, if not all christians are really hung up on sin and redemption from sin and how naturally evil we all are.. my question, and observation is this : i had nothing to do with whatever you say adam and eve did wrong, i have always, throughout my life, treated whoever i came into contact with compassion, respect and love.. i have lived by the golden rule.. not many people, hand on heart, can say that, i can.. so, is your god going to judge me for the "sin" of some mythical forebears of mine ?
is he going to say that , because i did not believe in him, i willl be judged adversely, even though i lived by the precepts he is supposed to support ?.
all i can say is, if your god is like that, i refuse to worship or acknowledge him.. and i certainly do not want to get to know him.

Ok have you ever been asked this question in regards to Isaiah 43:10 ?
by StoneWall inhow could god have always existed since it plainly says near the end of that verse before me there was no god formed?.
here is the quote from the nwt and i also looked it up on numerous other translations and they all used the word before.. .

Wife is making the teenage stepson start a bible study today....PLEASE HELP!!!
by insearchoftruth inhe brought it upon himself due to many issues, but she (well i truly am guessing the dubette she is studying with) has decided that the best way for him to start to behave is to get closer to jehovah.
he has already told me that it will most likely cause him to just get worse because he doesn't 'believe in all that crap'.
i am not going to be able to study with him, i know she and the dubs would not allow that, don't think i am labeled apostate, but am sure i am not far from it.

so today i've learned that there is just the ol' regular apostate and an 'active' apostate.. but are there actually active witnesses on this site as well??.

2007 Regional Conference topic
by mdb inthere is a jw regional conference in our area next weekend (june 15-17) and i have been told the topic is "follow the christ".
if this is a world wide topic for 2007 (which i suspect it is), does anyone here know what scriptures are being used for the messages?
what verse or verses are they basing the topic from?
