by enjoy ini have been da'd for almost 20 years from a congregation in wa i was 18 at the time.
i wanted to leave but the elders would not let me drift away because i knew to many people who were jw's, they told me to either come to every meeting for a month, or they would da me, so i missed the next meeting and they anounced that i was da'd.
the sad thing is that no jw ever knew what happened they all thought that i da'd myself even my sister, but oh well!!!!

elders want to visit
by buffalosrfree ini've been back in town now for about six months, finally the elders want to visit me.
what a bunch of bull but they have my wife convinced they just want to come and encourage me.
she has told them all the things i no longer believe in and that i ain't interested in being stupid anymore, but they still blow the bull by her.

My mother
by Soledad inforgive me just really venting here.
as some of you may know my mom suffered an accident about 1 month ago, she fell down a flight of stairs.
luckily she didnt break anything, she just had a minor concussion and some stitches on her head.

you don't give your mom's age??? if she is elderly she may never beable to change...it is sad,,,how ingrained the societies doctrines become in all of us...love her,,,,she will always treasure that...
ps...glad she was not hurt in the fall...she is very fortunate...

i did it for just about an hour and a half before my butt went to sleep and i decided to go home.
have you ever tried painting yourself gold and holding still for long periods of time with people taunting you and trying to get you to laugh?

by josephus inmy sister just moved into my home with her four children.
sadly her marriage has not worked out, and i felt it was the very least i could do to help her.. she is waiting for public housing, and i remembered an old witness freind who worked for the government department who did that.
so like a fool i decided to see him.

if he has just recently left the organization,,,he could very well be a mental mess!!! i would just forget it,,,,,he maybe is hurting real bad on the inside and just "hates" everyone right now...

Not invited
by dmouse ini am alone at home tonight.
my wife and children are busy having dinner and 'spiritual association' with an elder and his wife.. i wasn't invited, even though i am not da or df, just inactive.
and although i've made my position clear in that i'm not interested anymore i've never made any trouble really.. i didn't think it would hurt but it does.
