most people would consider it very wacky to connect the pyramid of gizah with the bible.
russell's claim was that the pyramid, the 1.st wonder of the world, was a witness down the ages containing god's plan.
the teachings and ideas on this seem to be so complex, that few people would spend / waste the time required to study these things.
And this is the witness given, that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that has the Son has this life; he that does not have the Son of God does not have this life.

you read enough of the mags to place them, and listen to other zealots ( like my sister) prattle on about little nuggets of something other than gold, in the latest mag.
My brother is like you.. He just faxed me an article from the 12-04 witchtower wanting to discuss "I have loved the Dwelling of Your House".
The part he is ranting about is as follows. Par 18. "Every Kingdom Hall with its regular program of spiritual instruction serves as the center of true worship in the community."
i thought that would get your attention.. actually... my brother is alive.before i got involved, strongly.

Notice that Jesus did not tell them to leave the military..
i am running into a few people on this board who are really struggling with trying to leave the jehovah's witnesses.
i want to post a question that might be beneficial.
if you struggled with leaving the jehovah's witnesses, why didn't you struggle with the mormon exclusivity claim?
"armageddon, inc" was an article published in the september 14, 1940 issue of the saturday evening post.. it was written by stanley high and was a critical review of the jehovah's witness religion as it was then.. this was 65 years ago, and i do not know of _any_ articles since then that have been published in a major magazine that attempt to analyze or examine the jehovah's witnesses!.
there have been many articles published over the years about jws, particularly when conventions are being held in a town.
the local papers will usually do stories about them.
The WTBTS is a product of the devil. What a trap he has set into place.

You see how that works, right? Even if it is complete waste of time, resources, money, it's still encouraged. It doesn't help the Society out one bit if people have free time, they might start reading and thinking and that will lead to people falling away.
